it looks like it's actually Shichimi Togarashi, which is a 7 spice blend which includes the hot pepper. But you can use just the hot pepper too.

I love Shichimi pepper and would like to know if there are a similar pepper mix that don´t contains sesame seeds. my mother is allergic to them and i would love to be able to cook with the pepper mix for her.

"Ichimi" pepper contains only red pepper (ground red pepper) although it may not be as flavorful as Shichimi...🤔

@@JapaneseCooking101 Thanks for the tips! I guess Ichimi is less flavourful since it lacks most of the spices thats in Shichimi.... But i will try to get hold of it to test it. 👍
