One of the things I love about GD is that there are no micro transactions or ways to get an unfair advantage by paying. Adding something like that could ruin the game for sure.

luckily you pay for the game so he cannot add them unless it's the lite version, but it probably would not translate well to full gd due to how stats work.

Terrible idea: Remove all level searching functions, and the only way to play levels is by a randomizer selecting an random id every spin

Something like that somehow actually got considered and added to cut the rope for a while.

Bad gd ideas:
1. If you die in a level your whole account resets.
2. You need to beat all the official levels, all the map packs, the gauntlets, the map, etc. with all coins to unlock online levels.
3. Pay 9.99$ to auto complete any level.(Including online levels, demons, and yes, you can verify levels with it).
4. Ads that randomly appear mid level. When the ad is playing the level is also playing in the background so you can die. Also you cant click during an ad so it basically just kills you.
I got a bad idea for Geometry Dash. You could spend diamonds to get stars moons and to make demons auto for you.

Bad idea: The only things you can use in the editor is the default blocks and spikes, the rest are dlc’s. Like there’s the “Trigger dlc” and “Pixel art dlc”, “More blocks dlc”, “Collectibles dlc”…
Bad GD Mechanic Idea: pop-ups. you have to click right on the [X] if you want them to disappear, or pay money for an ad blocker.....which fades out after 10 levels, or 1000 attempts. If you miss, you get sent to a random menu, a random level (including easy demon demons), or your gane crashes.

Terrible idea: Robtop adding an official level to the game that’s a top 1 list demon. Not a bad idea at first glance, but it would cause a lot of controversy.

I made a comment in that opening post regarding direct access to songs that aren't on Newgrounds or in the library and how I believe it was an awful idea.
I can elaborate a bit here, but in short, it's partly why (not everything in the) NCS library is also accessible - copyright issues.

I have one terrible idea.
You have limited blocks in editor (for example: you can have 50 1.0 blocks). And if you use them all you have to buy more for diamonds (1 block=1 diamond)
A bad idea I had: For very easy demons (such as the nightmare) and hard 9 stars, there could be a half demon difficulty. The face for it would be insane on the left side, and easy demon on the right side. It rewards you with 9.5 stars/moons on completion, and 0.5 demons.
Just imagine if most of the editor blocks and triggers were locked, and you had to pay for them. “This decoration block is locked, spend $0.99 to unlock it!” 💀
A terrible thing could be adding certain objects in the editor like the 2.2 decorations, certain shaders, purple pads and orbs, the swing and spider portals, the toggle orbs etc require the "Geometry Dash Premium Pass" £5.99, and adding over 10000 of those objects require the "Geometry Dash Extreme Premium Pass" £9.99, all prices are per hour. 💀💀💀💀

next bad idea: you have to buy access to icon editing and if you don't buy it its random everyday, so you can be trying to beat the golden then get all black icons and black glow (and watch 3 ads to reroll icons)
Another horrible idea: level creators can make whether you can play their levels or need to buy them for diamonds
