@@anngore3842 When did they expand? I was last there a few years ago and the video of this airport looks completely different. I remember them in a small room checking our passports before we went to the waiting area. I don't know if that was an extra procedure that they did. I remember them checking the passengers suitcases before we even got our suitcases weighed. I travel a lot but somehow this looks different.
If they say to be there three hours before? I usually go to get there two hours before to avoid these long lines. I guess since COVID things will be different. Thanks for the video.
I would suggest that that United Agent have even a emall podium on which to keep her tickets and the passengers to fill out their vouchers instead of in their hands.
our two international airports badly needed to be modernized there need to be kiosks to cut out this long wait and this long line to check in and get boarding pass majority of travellers are tech savy long wait to check in and then still another long wait in line going through security .
My daughter travel the 3 weeks ago from Montego bay and the experience was good for her a first time traveller she did everything online when she reach everything was ready she check in less than 10 minutes take some pics when she call me and yell me she was through customs it was less than 15 min and it was worst than this

No worse than JFK, BKK or ATL, granted they are much larger airports. I have stood on lines in all those that would circle MBJ. 😔

@kingnaldo4058 this facility handled over 5 million in 2023...not sure they are still using the stand alone charter terminal and if not, why not...

You can check in online. Or use the dozen or so self check in machines.

This airports in Jamaica are horriblel, employees rude and unprepared with tourists and for the City rude people.
Yea the airport assistants at Mobay were rude to me… most of them were no help to me. Very poor WiFi…
