Thank you very very much for making this guide. I was going almost nuts with my 3060 RtX card for not getting enough FPS what it should give with decent texture details. IT helps not only with this game, but had huge impact with other games also.
The problem is when you're hosting a server to play with someone while playing on the same machine, your hardware doesn't seem to matter. While at the start it's mostly fine, as soon as you explore a bit of the map and build a small base or two, regardless of the settings the host gets ~20-25fps. Can't get my CPU/GPU usage higher than 50%, yet regardless of settings (very low through high) my FPS does not change at all from the 20-25. Neither DLSS nor FSR makes any difference whatsoever in that scenario.
I have a laptop with an RTX2060 and an AMD processor with an integrated card
My problem is that the game runs on the integrated processor even though I changed the settings from Windows and from the Nvidia control panel, and I cannot solve the problem.
Therefore, dlss does not work either, and the RTX card is not included in the game
If you are experiencing bad performance when opening up menus (like the tribe "i" screen). Go to Setting < Language&Other < "Background animation in the Game Interface" and set to always off
11:45 performance is worse in DX12 mode is because of "point light shadows" which assumingly does not work on DX11
Only time I have FPS issues is if I go to a camp with a bunch of enemies.. It's very annoying. not a big FPS drop but enough to be annoyed.. elp?
if i play on a random online server, i always have 100 fps or even more, if i play on my singleplayer world i only get 60/80 fps... wtf xD
for me dx12 is better on my rtx 4060 ti
