I remember when my boyfriend started earning more than me and how worried I was. I thought that I would hold him back from the things he wanted to do now that he could afford it and I couldn’t. Now I am making more than him, and I do everything in my power to let him know that it doesn’t matter and I have his back just how he had mine. ❤️

That was me with my ex-husband. He was in my corner until I got my degree & started working in a hospital, but he found every excuse in the book to not go to school, blow his money on garbage & then tried to make me feel bad for my success. Then he lost a good job with benefits because he didn't go for a week due his bike being broken. When they fired him that Monday, he couldn't even tell me to my face. He called me on the way home because he knew I was right & I would be angry as hell & I was!
Where you end up in life is on YOU, not your partner or anyone else. I left my marriage not only because he was an abusive narcissist, but because I was not going for what I wanted to do because I had to worry about his shitty comments. It'll be four years since he left on Valentine's Day & I am so blessed & happy. I call Valentine's Day my Independence Day & I never cried over that fool. Ladies, if a man is trying to keep you down, he's NOT the one. Get out now!!!

I hope you’re able to make it work! ✊🏻 My bf and I are in a relationship for 5 years now and we’re only physically together for more than a year and 4 years ldr because I have to move to a different country for family reasons. Right now, the love just gets stronger and I always feel loved everyday. The key is both should always make time for each other even tho you are not able to see each other physically. It’s tough but hang in there, it’ll be worth it! 💕

My boyfriend had his worries at the begging of our relationship since I earned a lil bit more than him. But he got to know me more and after I changed jobs like 5 times lol he stared to understand that money isn’t everything and now he actually admires me and respects me for my hard work. Not all boys can support girls like this but he’s really sweet. I am so thankful to be with him 😩

Working at a small family restaurant, we’re often required to wear many hats at once. On a busy night, it is definitely overwhelming. But as long as we just keep chugging along and getting things done one by one, we know it’ll eventually calm down and come to an end. Working for my parents and speaking Chinese, I am definitely earning more than my husband who is working alongside me. It does come up that he doesn’t earn as much but if it wasn’t for him, I couldn’t do as much as I do. And he also comes through with a lot of daily home needs, so in the end, everything gets done and all the money is in OUR account, not his or mine.
