I've always wanted a video like this! The HFT world is quite secretive, and this video provided a fantastic glimpse into it, including the work culture. The video editing and choice of music were spot-on, which is often lacking in similar videos.

I'm just curious, do you guys really get the profit by implement strategy on trading, if yes, why you guys dont just copy those code and run on your own PC get your own profit ?
1st. Because profitable trading strategies are not just a few lines of code, plus even if that were possible, you would be imprisoned and then sued by the company, as has happened in many cases. See Bloomberg articles on this.
2nd. Many trading companies run HFT strategies - it's just not possible to run these on your own PC.
3rd. You're risking your own capital, and a specific strategy usually is not profitable for such a long time.
4th. Lack of infrastructure. Similar to 2nd point.
Overall it's just better to pick stocks for long-term investment in personal accounts.
