  • Here’s my review to my Sportster seat. I know not everyone wants to buy it without reviews so I listed the pros and cons to it

Thank you for the review on this seat! I just got a 2007 Nightster, and the seat that's on it right now looks like on of the 80 dollar ebay step up seats, and after a 110 mile ride today, I decided I needed a new seat, and this really helps me get a better idea for what I want to get!

I have a 2012 Sportster Superlow 883 and have a factory solo seat I'm guessing is similar to your solo seat. Does this seat change your seating position as far as moving you away from the tank and up at all? I'm 5'10" but have have a shorter inseam but my hips are killing me with a 20 minute ride. I don't think I want forward controls but also I don't want to spend $1000 between a seat and forwards to still have the same issue. Any insights?

Honestly the forwards im using i got from ebay for 100 bucks, some lock titght on the bolts if you buy them and it works just as good as harleys option for a fraction of the price. As far as the seat is concerned, it definitely changes your riding postion its lifts you up about 2 inches and back about an inch, it will definitely increase your postion to be more open instead of being all crunched up. Hope this helps!

@@NeverSatisfiedOfficial Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it. I got similar impressions from a few people about the Saddlemen Explore Ultimate with backrest and found one for $324 on Revzilla as an open box and just ordered it. If that doesn't do the trick the Step-up is next on the list. Wanted something a little more suited for passenger and driver comfort so the girl will go with me on rides. Working a deal on a set of new takeoff OEM forwards now, hopefully it works out. Happy riding!!
