It's strange that this wasn't shown in the recent Nintendo Direct. Directs are usually the first place we hear of these modern day classic Star Wars game rereleases/ports from.
This game was a gift from my aunt who unfortunately is no longer with us so it holds a special place in my heart. I still play it on ps4 now but I'll still be getting the remaster
This Remaster You Can Play As Boba Fett When You Complete The Game.
lol
Really
@@thomasmillett9743 yes it’s a skin!
That was teased in the OG release but not put in the final game. That was way before post release game updates, so it never materialized. Can you imagine if they teased something like that and didn't do it today hahaha. Unfortunately its just a skin with the same game tho ... it'd be crazy if they went all in and added a new, smaller, Boba story line for NG+.
I’ve been dreaming of bounty hunter 2 for as long as I can remember, either play as boba throughout his life or any mandalorian with a rdr2 style honour system and open world
SW Bounty Hunter is available for PS4 and PS5 already as a PS2 Classic but I never played it actually
HELL YEAH!! I’ve probably donated 30+ superchats in your streams begging for you to play this. Feel like this is the last big piece of Star Wars content around the time frame that you get to experience. I’m willing to bet, itll be one of your favorites. Such a cool story and even cooler character that very little people know about.
hope they do Revenge of the Sith next. I hear that's actually pretty good
This and The Clone Wars 2003 were my childhood.
On the one hand, Jango content.
On the other, Aspyr, only 4 months out from the Battlefront collection. At least they can't possibly bungle a single player only experience that badly, right?
Their Tomb Raider trilogy release was fine.
yeah this was a mistake of a conpany that had really never done multiplayer games shouldnt have been put on that project. Aspyr makes and remakes remasters mostly action adventure and rpg games
The Republic Commando release was fine
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
The camera is wonky, but I really loved the game.
Maybe the remaster will add camera options
Lol yeah this game used to make me feel sick
@@inspectorwhoreactsI really hope so.
maybe a remaster will fix that issue
First game I ever played on console. Didn’t know how to hold a controller and press the buttons (I was like six), so I sat in my dad’s lap and pressed the square button to shoot, and he did everything else. Been hooked on games ever since.
my 1st game i ever played was Super Mario Bros as a kid lol im old
Woke up and cried tears of joy, played on Game cube
I wasn’t born when the game came out but I played the remaster report on the ps4 when I was 10 in 2015
Same. Did you play the revenge of the sith game?
This game is one of my favorites. It is difficult, but so much fun. It also is one of the best Movie tie-in games, as it adds more context to Jango Fett and the creation of the Clone Army.
I grew up on Xbox, so I never got the chance to play it. It being an Aspyr thing makes me nervous tho
Same
2 uploads in 1 day, we’re blessed up
It really was the 2nd best star wars game ever made next to KOTOR. Honestly I can argue its the very best movie tie in game of all time too. It does sorta indirectly connect to star wars episode 2 its basically the story of how Jango became the clone army template
I really hope they continue this remaster trend. Episode I Racer, The Clone Wars, Republic Commando, and Jedi Academy would all be amazing if remastered well (the old X-Wing games too). Honestly, what I'd really like is a modern podracing game, can't believe they haven't seen the potential in that.
That’s awesome. Never got past the first couple hours because my disk was scratched. Maybe I’ll pick this up when it goes on sale
This is the first video game I ever played. I'm hyped to jump in again.
Aw man. This was my jam back in the day.
This game was really fun. Unfortunately I didn’t play it much, but my older brother was obsessed with this game (Jango Fett is his favorite character), so I always watched him play it. Excited to see this remaster come out!
Top 3, maybe all-time favorite Star Wars game. I play it to this day. I hope it lives up to our word of mouth. Enjoy! I'll be picking that up and playing through it once again.
I still have the GameCube version of this game, but I have never been able to beat it. I might get it on the Switch just for on the go purposes. It’s pretty fun from the little I was able to play, can’t wait for you to check it out for yourself
Same here. I hope he has a blast with it.
Played this game like a lunatic back in the day. Cant wait to revisit it.
Wow I just bought the OG a couple months ago on PS5. It felt quite a bit rougher than I remembered it being back in the day, hopefully they do a good job and bring new life into it!
When I was a kid this was one of the hardest games I'd ever played...I never completed it
Even as a Gamecube kid, I haven't played it. I only heard about Bounty Hunter recently from that one video that went over the 6 tie-in games to episode 2. I will probably pick it up when it goes on sale.
Christmas morning I got this game and played it so much. I was pretty young when I got it and found it tough and never legitimately beat it. I loved the game though and it was something I would play a lot. Now I get to try it again. So cool. Thanks grandma for getting me the original along with the ps2.
This was one of the few SW materials that was my first introduction to the franchise (aside from my mum buying a Jar Jar plush when I was a baby). This game means alot to me because of that and because the game is fantastic.
Jango Fett is one of my favourite characters because of this game.
Having met Temuera Morrison almost two months ago at a con, being able to meet the man who played a character I was obsessed with, was so cool and an honour (he was both cool and a genuinely nice fella)
I am nervous about the re release because of Aspyr messing up the battlefront collection, but considering this is a strictly single player and not as big of a project, there is hope.
They did a good job porting the PS2 version of TFU over to the switch.
I actually have it on my PS4 and still haven't played it myself. It's one of the few Star Wars games from that time period that I don't have an attachment to from my childhood, so I wonder how well it'll hold up as a fresh player.
Granted I did play Republic Commando for the first time a few years ago and that game is fucking incredible, so I imagine I'll like this.
HAnds down one of my favorite games of my childhood. Cannot wait
I kept my PS4 to strictly play this game. I loved it as a child. It was challenging, spooky at times but it was phenomenal
So excited to see it coming to pc. Makes me hopeful that we'll see the rest of the console exclusive games make their way to pc as well.
This game blew my mind when I was little, and I loved being able to use Jango’s weapons and tools at whim, but I never got very far because the graphics always made me nauseous lol
Aspyr's making it. If it comes out at all I'll be surprised. If it comes out stable that will be a miracle.
I had this back in the day and it was great, until the end. The final level with those swarming enemies that had way too much health for swarming enemies made it so I could only get to the end with cheat codes. But it was fun up until then.
Never played this too might get it on my switch
I could not for the life of me get past the level on coruscant where you have to fight the security force
This game was mint on the ps2, I’m looking forward to this remaster
I played the PS2 port on my PS4 but never finished it 😅😂 I didn't expect this remaster at all so I can't wait play it again
I really wish they would just do a new Star Wars Galaxies.
I didnt play original release but they released it in 2016 with a ps4 bundle along with star wars racer revenge, super star wars, and jedi starfighter if i recall correctly, and i found it pretty fun, although the camera controls suck, its still badass game, and cant go wrong with jango fett. Kinda wish we would get a remake instead, kinda like the demons souls one, though preferably without changing as much as demons souls did
How come it will be released? I have it on my ps4 for 3 years now!
If you loved Shadows of the Empire, i'm sure you'll love Bounty Hunter. My only concern is Aspyr is porting this with its already bad reputation...
Might wait a little bit before getting it as Aspyr has a spotty record but am definitely keen to check it out eventually.
I hope being on PC means we get *mods.*
So excited! I hope they have more control over the… uh… controls. 😅 I hated the camera controls and tracking on the original. It all felt backward to me.
I’m personally waiting for a port of Shadows of the Empire for switch
Will it have a map
Idk it’s good I guess, just played it for the first time recently. Afterwards I played Knights of the Old Republic and that was fantastic!
Never got an opportunity to play it but I've heard good things, never went out of my to play it but since it's launching on Steam I may give it a go.
It’s a good game, I had it the day it came out. One of the better games from that era , really good film tie in for episode 2 . Only lame thing was why invest so much into the character then he dies off in the movie . But it’s a great game
This was an amazing game BUT I hope the remaster isn't just updating some mechanics and visuals. Most games of this era are pretty thin on ambiance by todays standards. Going back and playing early GTA for example is exceptionally lackluster/under stimulating despite being ground breaking in their time. Basically, just put in a ton more NPCS , especially in the city settings so that new players will be able to feel the same excitement as players did decades ago. Story has some great lore revolving around the Prequel era that I think many who didn't get to play it have only possibly read about in footnotes. It'll be interesting to see how that is accepted lol ....
My personal favorite Star Wars game of all time!
My only hope is that Aspyr won’t fuck it up
What made this so unforgettable and a great memory was the sheer shock and horror of this moment....so SPOILERS if you've not played it. ..........................................

One of the Tatooine levels has you going through these caverns fighting Tuskens when, suddenly, you start sliding down, down, down into this vast valley with these skiffs and a barge and....if you don't land on one, you'll quickly realize you're falling into a Sarlacc. It was such an "OH SHIT!" moment for me. I remembered trying to use my jetpack and jump as much as possible, but I knew I didn't have enough juice and was screwed. I was too far in. It was terrifying...and awesome at the same time. Also, so you have a move where you can tie people up for bounties, and I refuse to believe I was the only person who tied up skiff guards there and would slowly walk them off said skiffs, thus dropping them into said Sarlacc pit. I was a morbid child.
I'm kind of like you in that I never had a way to play it, but that's because I'm an Xbox guy. My best friend always had high praise for it though. I look forward to playing it on Xbox in August.
This game is GOOD. I remember quitting in the prison break chapter. I was a kid and found the rocket launcher guards annoying as fuck. It should be smooth, it's just a singleplayer game. Hopefully Aspyr learned their lesson.
Is this remaster being released on physical?
Getting all the bounties was a real bitch😂
Omg I am so pumped!!!
But this was out on ps4 years ago that's pretty fun
I'm not preordering it, but I'll definitely wishlist it :)
When I was a teen, I had some GameCube games stolen from me. This game was among them, along with Skies of Arcadia: Legends... Which hurts even more as time goes by. Both my heart, and my wallet.
I need rots to be rereleased so bad
But did you have a Playstation or Gamecube when this game came out? Or were you a PC gamer? I don't recall.
OH HELL YEA
So hyped for this. This game is awesome!
this was the first game i got on ps2 and because of that jango's silver-and-blue armor is permanently associated with the playstation brand to me, even though they have no actual relation whatsoever lol
No change to the control scheme sadly
This is going to be Fckn Awesome
I loved this game! Could be nostalgia of course, but hopefully the remaster is good 🤞
It’s a fun game! I want a Boba Fett game though!
Maybe they'll fix that awful weapons switching mechanic 😂 im definitely getting this
This game is so hard. I just beat it on Ps2 recently.
Loved this one.
Published by Aspyr, so dead before it arrives, just look what they did to the BattleFront Remasters
Cool and all but for people my age? Where is the Dark Forces 2 Remaster?
Was excited for the game when i saw the tailer but aspyr having anything to do with it has made me rethink since they somehow fucked up the battlefront collection
I played Bounty Hunter for the first time only last year on the PS2. For me there were two sides of the game I really loved, and that was the story and the shooter gameplay.
And then there was one side that I really did not like, and that was the platforming. The platforming I really did not enjoy, I thought it was too precise, and too slippery with the big PS2 joysticks to control, it didn't feel very good at all. Especially with how blurry textures are on the PS2, often you're expected to land on or walk across platforms that are barely a few pixels on the screen.
I also didn't like the arbitrary lives counter either, I really don't know why in a game with so much precision platforming where the difference between life and death can come down to the slightest mis-adjustment with the left analogue stick, to try and land on a platform you can't really see because of a bad camera angle, would also punish you by sending you back to the beginning of a level just because you died x number of times.
Because of all of that I ended up dropping the game half way through it I think it was mission 9 I quit on, and there's 16 in the game in total. I'm kind of looking forward to this so that I can give the game another shot tho on more updated hardware with much less blurry textures, and a better controller.
I am a little weary of the dev company Aspyr who are working on it tho, given their track record with the Battlefront Classic Collection, so I'll probably wait a couple days from release before buying to make sure the game actually works, although they don't have to worry about server support this time, just a solo campaign experience, so here's hoping they have an easier time getting this one right!
I love this game so much.
I played on PS2
I really loved that game ❤
I wish they'd focus on remakes these old pixelated games and their wonky level designs give me a headache
This game is gonna piss you off so much
Aspyr will probably mess it up... again, the launch to battlefront 1 and 2 classic was utterly atrocious
I played this on GameCube and still own it. I’m surprised this game is fondly remembered tbh, I thought it was rather generic and forgettable. Curious to hear what people love about it.
Love star wars bounty hunter ❤
Jedi Outcast>>>>>
by the people who messed up the battlefront collection lmfao this is not gonna end up good
SW Racer needs a proper re-relase because Aspyr's "remaster port" is worse than the original 1999 release. How could they fumble the texture graphics and controls so badly, gosh.
The jet engine exhaust flame texture is missing on almost half the pods. Its just a pitch black texture on the flame, like why? Wasn't an issue in the original game.
Jaaaannngoooooo!!!
Damn. We really forgot how Aspyr fumbled the bag on battlefront classic collection, didn’t we?
Thank you HelloGreedo for releasing a 4 min video with absolutely nothing of substance in it.
Considering who is making it... I'll remain sceptical and won't buy it instantly
Just buy the original PS4 port instead
Prequel hater jumps on the bandwagon
Bounty Hunter is a very Prequels game and I think there's a lot of nostalgia goggle wearers here.
The story is fine, but nothing to write home about. The voice acting is pretty good. But the combat is crap and the difficulty and save systems are at times brutal. Also the bounty hunting system has no impact on the actual game. It's a game I'd watch remastered, but wouldn't play again.
Cash grab do not buy
Eh... I'm not really interested. Bounty Hunter is from that era that started the death of Lucasfilm, it didn't look different from the Phantom menace tie-in for me at the time and even now it's not much.
star wars sucks lulz
