I know this is an old video now but if anyone is doing this please put the rubber mount the other way round and use the longer stud with 2 nuts and washers, one each side of the mount welded to the pipe. Then it works much better.
At time 14:06, Change the Allen bolt to a regular head so you can put a wench on it, and at time 17:05 put steel clamps on the insulator not zip ties. Go back and put lock tite on the header bolts into the engine or they will come off.
Great video, thank you for making it. I was about to buy the pipe myself on DDM, but just realized the clearance to the pullstart looks really close. Since I run in the desert, I need to occasionally take my pullstart off in the field, even using quick release thumb screws, it looks like with that pipe will make it hard to remove the pullstarter in the field.
Its all good. Should have come with some directions and with parts missing made it a little harder to figure out. I've run the RC and its holding up well.👌
Elite Rc I second that statement! Any part I buy for my rigs, I research the heck out of it. This seems to make a lot of my installations go much smoother. There’s nothing worst than taking two hours for an install that should take twenty mins to complete.
d1r1a1g1 DDM - They have a silenced and non- silenced. Here is the link to the non- silenced. www.davesmotors.com/?search=fd962+-+Victory-RC+Big+Bore+Pipe+for+Losi+TLR+5ive-B+Buggy+-+Non-Silenced
That was for the 5B here is for the 5T www.davesmotors.com/Victory-RC-BIGBORE-Rear-Mount-Tuned-Pipe-for-Losi-5ive-Non-Silenced-.html They have both silenced and non- silenced

For sure. Its very close. You would not be able to get the pull start off without removing the pipe.
Gotcha, thanks so much for the info, you saved me a big headache.
Boy al2 that was tough I was rooting for you buddy I hope that thing doesn't loosen up or come loose or anything good luck

just cut the end of an allen key that fits. since cutting one of mine I use it for everything now. less flex when its cut.
That's good to hear I'm glad for you Al2
I put. A stud. On that side of the head. And tightened up lock nut with small spanner.
Can't go wrong with a Victory pipe
I just cut down a couple of Allen wrenches just to get into that right space. Better than ball end
Nice pipe and your install went great p.s it's not a lot of instructions in 1/5th scale you have to do your homework on a lot parts and installs!

You defo should of used lock tight on it all bro it's all going to come loose
How does a stock Losi 5T have a Cy motor?
The original 1.0 came with a CY engine. Since 2.0 came out their all Zenoah
@3:16 RC I thought the CY engines are made by the Chinese clone, such as Rovan.
Who sells this exhaust nothing comes back for the victory exhaust pipe?
