It's kinda ironic that people dismiss colonising venus so readily. If we were to go to Venus & build enclosed habitats of breathable air there, they would naturally float at an altitude where conditions would be effectively identical to being on the water near Kilauea. Same precautions in use in Hawaii would be adequate for protection from the atmosphere there, no need for space suits etc, just an air filter if you decide to put opening doors on the habitat (not sure why you would on venus, but if you did......)

Sharon, these things occuring are simply that which Christ said we're going to. He spoke to His disciples in Matthew 24:6&7 telling them of the end; that there would be "wars and rumors of wars, that nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom and there shall be famines and pestilences and earthquakes in divers places."
Many would laugh at the Word of God, but we need but look around and consider how many much of those scriptures are actually coming true...Countries are constantly fighting against one another right now...We see here that these three volcanoes are erupting and there are several others in Alaska happening as well. There were earthquakes in Utah and Puerto Rico last year and one in Haiti this year; mankind is fighting against a disease it still has no idea how to cure and thousands are dying every day...I don't want to consider the shortage of food but there have been some places as long as I've been alive where people have been starving...If you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, today is the day, dear heart as tomorrow might be too late. Be well.

A lot of volcanoes are erupting around the same time. Why?

There are always tons of volcanoes erupting at the same time, nothing unusual is happening…it’s just that the ones that are erupting now happen to be all in places that get a lot of attention. Kīlauea is the most active volcano in the world, it erupting is not a surprise in the slightest

26 volcanoes erupting right now. Is this normal 🤔

Yes actually. Volcanoes are nearly a constant thing.

@@jaydub2546 On Average there are about 50 "erupting" volcanoes throughout the world on any given day. Don't forget about the under ocean volcanoes erupting along the mid Atlantic ridge and the Pacific Rise. Most erupting volcanoes are never noticed by the average person because they don't get any press. Those of us who study volcanoes are well aware of how many are erupting at any give point in time. Don't be proud of your ignorance.
The term "active" varies by which scientist you speak with. The most common definition is any volcano that has erupted within the past 10,000 years. When you add up "active" volcanoes, there are thousands.

@@oscarmedina1303 I know it isn’t a worry. I keep telling people the same. I knew volcanoes erupt regularly just didn’t realise the scale. Thanks.
