Yes, though truth is truth regardless of what mouth God chooses. Real truth will point people towards the Lord, rather than to men, and few as diligently point people to Christ as Spurgeon endeavored to do.

Don't change Spurgeon's works. The style and language is what makes it great. This paraphrase is awful by comparison.
