Pete Alonso is a fantastic ball player. Day in and day out, this guy produces. Look at that stretch at first base! Makes MLB fun to watch.
Except when he has to throw to someone covering first like throwing to the pitcher, then he forgets how to throw. He's also been pretty much a nonfactor because he hasn't actually helped the Mets win ball games.

This Mets team just needs some relief pitching man we need to make some trades.
Mets can't expect Lindor and Nimmo to carry on the clutch batting everyday, some other guys need to wake up and carry some of the burden, not just go, swing and sit down.
Both Keller and Scott use what seems to be a new popular pitching motion. Skenes is also similar as are others.
Keller really should have been an All Star again. I think his early season struggles, leading to the bloated ERA, kept him out this year.

The Mets win games despite their manager. He has been directly responsible for up to 5 of the Mets losses including this one. You don't go to a rookie to get his first pitches in the big leagues in a tie game against the best hitters on the Pirates team in Reynolds and Cruz. Inexcusable. Forget the bullpen. Forget the offense. The manager is the biggest problem with the Mets.

mets coaches are the worst.
The Mets are still the better team. Pirates lucky today. Not one member of the Pirates should be on the all star team. Reynolds has done nothing. Not even close to a .300 batting average. Skenes is unproven so if he wants to pitch in a meaningless game and risk injury but not deserving. Not every team needs to be represented. All star game is for great players not ones selected out of sympathy who won't even touch the field. Mets will get back to winning and Milwaukee will send the Pirates to the basement. Won't even be close

Typical behavior from a Mets fan. I saw you in the comments defending the umpiring in Saturday's game. I wonder why. Maybe it's cause your team isn't that good. Not like the Pirates are that good either but the point still stands. By the way the Pirates outscored the Mets in the series 26-12, I just want to point that out. You needed this game to humble yourself.
