The US accent feels so energetic and also chill where the British accent feels so royal
Exactly
.. Us accent is super cool while British is decent and royal
Aaah!!! 🤧 U stole...😂Ma mind.
Royal? How about cockney? Mancunian? Geordie? Scouse? Broomie? Definitely not royal! But still 100% UK English!
@@nurlhaqchaniago6143 Right. People ought to know that dozens of British accents exist, each and every having major unique characteristics, and that not all British accents are non-rhotic.
The British accent feels so boring
We Indians speak Brimerican/ Ameritish with a tinge of Hindi or our regional languages. It is called 'Indian English'. 😄
This is the most perfect explanation I've found so far

Thanks! Now I know that how I always pronounce “salmon” , “aunt and several words that you mentioned on this video is the British accent. I can now explain when asked. I first started learning in the British English, though I was young (11, 12) that I didn’t think that the accent would carry on in America.

I love Russian Marina. But American Marina is cooler, sexier, smarter, a good you tuber and a good person 😊. Keep posting vedios..Lots of love from India
American Marina😁
linguamarina I love more American Marina!
Russian 😘
I'm an American and I don't really have a preference. It's funny though because you pointed out some things I hadn't noticed before, which makes it a entertaining video. I moved around a lot as a kid within the United States; not internationally, and got hella confused because different schools I went to taught different pronunciations. I don't know where I picked it up but I used to pronounce 'herb' like the British for some reason. But that got corrected.
She dressed like the characters, I love this channel
The British accent sounds so beautifully, but It is harder to learn vocabulary.American accent is rude, modern and quick to adapt to the tongue. However I choose British accent. And unfortunately I always mixed both of them
Me, too; I fully prefer to sound elegant rather than cool or mainstream
Mee too
Ahhhh shaddupppp. Don’t come to the us you foreign bums, you turds ain’t welcomed to the states. You turds wish you could sound cool and have American accents but ya can’t. Anytime I here a bum with English accents all I think is “get the frick off our American soil and go back to Europe”

This video is spot on!! I’m American and studied abroad in England. The expression that threw me off the most was when they said “You alright?” instead of “How are you?” In American Eng, if u say “You alright?” it means it looks like there’s something wrong with u (sick, tired, etc). So people kept asking me that the first few days and I thought I must look tired or homesick and answered accordingly. Haha! It’s the little things!! Thank u for this video!! (Your accent is so good I thought u were American the first time I saw one of ur videos!!)
CAITLIN O'REILLY most people in my area of U.K. say alright most people will say yeah but it’s not for conversation usually unless you’re friends with the person. Most of U.K. know Americans have a lounder accent than most British people and Europen people. Japanese,Australians and USA tend to have lound accents.
Tell me truly which accent sounds more musical, more interesting BE or AE?
Hello beautiful how are you doing today
British English : formal
American English : casual

British English more polite ..my opinion
Very much so and clearer.
I Agree .
Yes I agree with your opinion , British English is clearer and polite
.....not where I live
How can a language be polite?
They both sound the same to me in my opinion. In America people tend to use more slang, in cities people speak much formally. If you’re talking about slang..
in malaysia, anyone who speaks english is considered classy and stylish even though some of them have no knowledge of accents and mix all english accents

What's interesting is that even though I live in India, my pronunciation of different words is from both places, ie. I tend to pronounce some words the British way and some the American way. AND actually, everyone here in North India seems to do just that. Also, I've heard of the word POSH in India before.

Excelente e interesante video.
