Man your tutorials are top notch, Nathan. Having purchased your Shading course recently, i want to say I just LOVE how you go through each of the different textures and layering to create even more varieties of materials effects. So top notch...thank you mate!

I am not very experienced in Blender but thanks to the common sense I can tell that Ducky 3D used bones to animate the 2D triangles in the logo, a point light for the small shiny detail and 2D text for the text of course lol. The sound is a whole different story.
Anyways don't believe this because I might be wrong in everything I explained in this comment

Hey Nathan! I'm new to your channel and I have followed some of your animation tutorials. This is the first cycles tutorial I'm following. Although I did manage to complete it, when it comes to rendering I have no idea how to render in 4K quality, when zoomed even the output retains non-noisy, sharp edges. It would be much appreciated if you can show us render->export the same cube in 4K or render something new using cycles. There are no proper 4K rendering tutorials. The render speed doesn't matter at all. The highest quality is the main concern. Thank you in advance!

It will be handy. There are no HD cycles rendering tutorials on CZcams. Almost every tutorial is about speeding up cycles, and it doesn't really matter if you own a high-end device. It's so cool if we can get an HD rendering tutorial from DUcky

As a light transport programmer your comment at 10:17 made me cringe a fair bit. The noise you get in a camera (especially the "good" noise you get from analog film as opposed to digital sensors) is absolutely nothing like the noise you get from undersampling/underiterating a path traced render.
That's like saying you like to render things at a 240x144 res because "i like the soft focus of old-timey lenses". They have nothing to do with eachother. This might seem nitpicky but it's a very important distinction to make - ESPECIALLY if you want to export a render like this as an animation.

the last part is only trying some values. There is nothing to learn there, just test which density of fog, emission and such works best. It would give nothing to the table to add 3 minutes where he just pushes sliders
