Being Nonbinary | A Little About My Gender Journey

What is nonbinary, anyway? Nonbinary is a gender identity, my gender identity. Other examples of gender identity are man, women, gender queer and agender. This is just a sample of gender identities; there are many more. How each person experiences their gender identity can vary but I wanted to create this video to share a little about my story and journey to help you understand what being nonbinary means to me. The two biggest take-aways from this video are that gender identity is not a choice but that gender expression is totally a choice. Lean in, learn and love by understanding and respecting all gender identities and forms of expression.
