CR250 Supermoto Part 8: How to Fix Scratched Forks + MORE SICK PARTS

I fixed these scratched up fork tubes and got them looking like new again using some emery cloth to sand them smooth! Super easy and cheap fix to get your forks right. I will post the link below to where I bought it.

Next video we are gonna be rebuilding the carburetor and I bought some jets to custom tune it. Still waiting to get my rear shock spring back but once I finish that, I will start assembling the chassis to get it ready for the engine. We are making moves!!!

next time if you dont have a seal driver put electrical tape around the lower fork leg and driver the seal into the tape. good vid keep it up

I used a plastic pipe as a seal driver. its was PITA and it leaked. I had to reseat the seal as there was bit of plastic pipe left in the fork stopping it seal properly.

That’s unfortunate man sorry about that. It worked for me my seals on this cr250 have lasted 2 years so far. Better off with a real seal driver though i get it 👍🏼

Fritz Salgado emery cloth Fine grit. Or just get some 1200 or higher sandpaper

Picolus Cage tubes are looking as clean as ever, definitely no oxidation. Running the same seals for over 30 hrs now no leaks.
