    I believe Poch was told during that meeting that the club is selling CG and TC this summer, and Poch disagreed as he sees these players as part of his plans. Our owners see the situation as they own the club, and they decide who comes and goes. they see the manager as the guy who has to manage the players they bring in. They don't want him to build a team they treat us like a player farm to breed players for future sale. I think this is why Tuchel left and the reason Potter got the job, because he was happy with the owners working this way

    Arsenal fan, I agree with alot of chelsea fans that you shouldn't have sacked poch
    But I actually reckon de zerbi would be a great fit under chelsea, Brighton were massively affected by injuries last season and yes they conceded alot but de zerbi would get chelsea looking like a machine. I rate him very highly

    No Thank You to Kieran Mckenna, Thomas Frank,Enzo, Kompany (going Bayern) No Thank You to José.
    I would keep Roberto De Zerbi in that tier that you put him in.
    Trouble waiting to happen TT he flopped at Bayern Munich and started off the first part of his last season here horribly. No confidence it will be any better for us. Btw we were very inconsistent in the league in his first full season.
    Rubén, Xabi, Julián Nagelsman, and Xavi are my ideal Managers. The rest can stay the same.

      The ideal managers might not want to come to Chelsea. Right now there is no champions league football. Job insecurity and a lot of instability due to the chops and changes. Lastly being a head coach it curtails independence. The last one isn't that strong though

    Well I remained faithful to Poch throughout. Ideally he should have been given at least one more season to establish the team in top four. It’s still possible but the players have to really commit and get used to whoever as quick as they can.

  • @yeeto-247
    @yeeto-247 Před 23 dny

    I want flick he has a very attacking style of play, and would play a 4231, wouldn't mind xavi, poch, Amorim or nagelsmann. Ideal would be poch again, the players love and respect him, very unlikely though the chances of the owners rehiring him or TT, probably not going to happen 😅 what I will say is whoever the next manager is, they need to be backed as the guy, if the owners want them as the guy, back them as the guy.

    Bottom line, no matter who we gonna get, that head coach thing isn’t working for us. Let’s look at the current successful clubs rn, Pep - manager, klopp - was a manager, arteta - manager. We need a manager that will have a say on what he wants to do

    I think De Zerbi is the kind of manager that the SDs had in mind when buildings this squad but out of the options available I think that Frank is actually the most likely to succeed. Although De Zerbi is the best tactical fit, I worry about his personality clashing with the board if things dont go his way. Frank is the only other likely option with PL experience and is known for building strong relationships with the players, similar to Poch. He is tactical versatile so there shouldn’t be a lot of teething problems initially, he can adapt to the squad. He can be pragmatic if required, which is what his Brentford side are known for in the PL but when they were in the Championship and they were a side with relatively high player quality compared to their competition, they were a progressive team
    The only question is what was brought up in the video. Will he get eaten up by the job? Honestly, it could happen to any of the manager options but if they gets results, the fans will turn to their side like what happened with Poch at the end

    I actually think that we already had an agreement in principle with another manager before Poch turned it around. It's the only thing that makes any sense. Am I right in thinking that our owners/directors had entertained Amorim a month or two ago? The only other explanation is that it was Poch that wanted to leave. Perhaps he wasn't getting what he wanted and may have been offered another opportunity? But I am concerned that this decision will have a negative impact on the team.
