To celebrate the inaugural Music Hall and Variety Day (16th May 2020) Tom Carradine was pleased to round off the celebrations with a sing-a-long of the Top Ten Music Hall songs as voted by the BMHS members back in 2011.

ABOUT TOM CARRADINE
Coventry-born, Tom’s higher education was attained at South Kensington; not in the Victorian red brick and weldon stone of the Royal College of Music, but the brutalist concrete of Imperial College, where he completed a degree in Biochemistry. Finding himself completely unemployable, the theatre took him to its generous bosom and as Musical Director and keyboard player he toured, in quick succession, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Scrooge, Cabaret and The Sound of Music. But before long his lifelong love of Music Hall and old-time music led him down the paths he treads nowadays: currently musical director at Brick Lane Music Hall and pianist with Champagne Charlie and the Bubbly Boys - a 1920/30s style dance band - he has been entertaining audiences across the country with Carradine’s Cockney Sing-a-long. A regular attraction at Wilton’s Music Hall, and every Thursday at Mr Fogg’s Tavern in Covent Garden, Tom was also a winning team’s treat on BBC One’s The Apprentice.
