Bull terriers are such beautiful dogs. Izzy is so sweet, she makes me want to give her a big hug. I wish her and Lisa many happy and healthy years together.

I used to see bull terriers everywhere when I was a kid, now they are pretty rare to be seen. I’d loved to have a bull terrier as the family dog.. they are so cute

You‘d think. But as a boxer owner with a sensitive stomach I know that dogs will eat things that are bad for them even after they recover because mine does that. 😅The only thing they’re good at in that regard is that they‘ll stop eating until their stomach isn’t upset anymore😅
No they do the same thing over a nd over again they don't learn. I know mY family an d I ran breeding & training kennels.
I’m glad she said about not trying this at home. My fear is that videos of veterinary procedures sometimes tempt people to try to save $ and DIY. Not when it’s a life and death thing, you guys!

They are beautiful little ,noble looking, compact animals.
This is why you never leave rat bait on the floor or even in a closet on the floor.
You always put it on a high shelf because not only dogs and cats have eaten it but children as well thinking it was some type of sweet smelling candy.
Honestly just don’t use it at all. It’s dangerous to basically everyone, and cruel to boot.
Just don’t use it. It’s very inhumane and there are better methods to use that aren’t so cruel.

Dogs have a habit of putting their mouth into everything. My dog once tried to catch a toad and started to froth frantically. Had to rinse her mouth to get all the poison out🥺
Yeah frogs have poisonous skin. To deter predators. The worst are the cane toads in Australia. Not an indigenous species, they were introduced to try and combat a bug problem. Worked beautifully for awhile. Cane toads have no predators there. Skin so toxic that a gator will spit em out immediately if accidentally ingested. Now they’re taking over the place. Aussies be like, Oi!

@@cherylholub3100 yes you're absolutely right it's not the dogs fault it's the most likely is the owners and she needs to be more responsible as an owner not just an owner like a mother I've been a cat owner before and a dog owner in fact

On a different tack- why buy rat bait? Rats are very intelligent and the families are kept in check by the mum. I watched them many years ago in Calcutta. So why do you want to buy something that induces such a horrendous death. A karmic warning.

And that is why you should not have any rat bat ever in your house 🏠 just to be on the safe side...
The dog eats rat bait and everyone freaks out and rushes her to the vet, as one should. However, the same exact thing happens to the rats and no one sheds a tear. I understand if someone doesn’t want the rats around, perhaps there is a better way of getting rid of them besides poisoning them. But also, having dogs whom a lot will eat anything remotely edible like mine, I would never keep any of that stuff in my house or yard just don’t want to risk it. I’m so glad she got her dog to the vet so quickly, I’ve seen dogs that don’t make it so quick and it’s absolutely heartbreaking seeing what they go through if caught too late.
Bless the rodents. There are humane control strategies and much of it involves changing human behavior.

Poison is a dangerous substance ingested by something that can be very fatal.

Curious...Wouldn't you also use activated charcoal to make sure it's all out of her system as well?? That was alot of rat poison. YIKES!!! Note to furbaby parents...NEVER even for a second leave rat poison or anything toxic out of your sight...much like small children..if it looks like candy/food...they are gonna put it in their mouths...in a split second....

Rat bait is horrible not just for rodents but for any animal that eats it - birds of prey, snakes, anything that eats rodent corpses dies

Train your Dog not to eat any food you don't give her, sausage skins with a small amounts of tabasco works for dogs
