X-ADV GIVI top box rack

Fitting GIVI top box rack arms. These are required if you don’t have the OEM Honda rear rack which is a (prohibitivly expensive) accessory (you will also need the Givi M5M plate in order to use Monolock topbox)

I believe washer to be on top of rubber... Cos if you tighten the bolt the rubber will deform

Just bought an xadv and wanted to fit the givi rack as I already have a V47 box. You're experience is exactly the same as mine, the right side fitted in 30 seconds, the left side over an hour, just about avoided cross threading the bolts as the bolt holes on the rack and frame simply do not match up. Crap quality control. If you haven't already got a givi box, buy something else, buy something else because this will do your fucking head in and risks damaging the bike. Looks solid enough when it's on, but not worth the hassle.

Hi hi hi, I got the same problem on left side only, (Givi QUALITY :-) ), I drilled bigger hole.

After 2 years... please comment your opinion about this GIVI rack bracket for top case. It is strong enough to use ?

It was indeed very strong. I have sold the bike now. I would purchase again but just drill out the bolt hole in the bracket slightly as it was difficult to fit one side.

Is adv150 and xadv750 top box bracket is the same??

no it is different shape. ADV150 part number is SRV v2 it would seem. Baseplate looks the same though.

The arms were part number Givi '1156FZ', although it was described as 'Top Box Rack'. The plate that holds the actual top box was a Givi M5M 'Monokey top plate'.
