Thing is that some people don’t realize, but the music makes it difficult for autistic people such as myself to see it as educational entertainment because my brain actually gets distracted and consumes the content as “killing time” instead of as “analytical growth”. Like, it’s almost as if the music makes it difficult for my mind to focus on the “Play by Play” events. Perhaps this is why Sporting broadcasts don’t actually have music? 🤷🏾♂️ Maybe I’m the only one, but some people legitimately will watch a pro like Pekin for the mental critical thinking instead of just to pass the time. I’m actually really grateful that he helped me understand what type of content I enjoy. Cause instead of just unsubing and missing out on what I unconsciously enjoyed I get to come back every time it is that strategy type of gameplay. Glad he could enjoy himself though. 😄 I literally came to see the comments and had the video playing in the BG as white noise. Perhaps, at least for me, the staying power of 5v5s due to it having less random factors makes it feel like it is definitely a “check out all the things you can do” in the game instead of a “look what I did” type of feel? Not sure, but I’m definitely a larger fan of daily ranked games with high level commentary. Literally only watch Pekin and Zwag when they doing 5v5s because my Carpal tunnel doesn’t let me enjoy LoL like I used to, so consuming it like a regular “sports game” type of event is really satisfying. I’ll probably watch the other stuff every once in a while when I have time to kill, but the 5v5s have a “did you see the latest game?!?” Type of allure to them. Not hating by any means, just sharing my PoV in case it helps.
