I hate addressing negative comments but I want to say something. Nick isn't self absorbed. It's the opposite, he's offering me all his food because my family was too poor to afford this place and he knows I've always wanted to eat here. In Colombia I dreamed of tasting these foods when coming to America. He knows me better than anybody leaving comments. Just because I say no thank you in the video doesn't mean I don't secretly want to try. He's amazing for bringing me here...I've been saying for a long time that I don't like being on camera because of comments like this. If people are going to stop watching Nick's channel because they don't like the way I eat...then there is no reason I should be here if I don't even feel comfortable doing it in the first place. I do it because I love being with my partner and this is our special marriage week. But since you dislike me, it's not worth it...This is how we put food on the table and take care of our house and pets. I'm not going to jeopardize our income because of food. I have my own channel. I am my own person. To say our marriage won't last is an insult. Some of you act like you know the 1st thing about me because you watched me eat food. It really does bother me that people poke so much fun at them... I personally love seeing Orlin in the videos. Its fun watching them together. People are saying that Orlin shouldn't be in the videos because he's uncomfortable or something... How do you think he's gonna get comfortable if he's not in videos? I know how he feels because I've had an eating disorder in the past (well it never really goes away) and also anxiety and I can't eat in front of people. Not my siblings, not my parents, not strangers. I can't eat in public, I never ate in schools. I have to eat by myself alone because I fear someone will make fun of the way I eat or think I'm a slob. That being said it makes me kind of sad seeing Orlin get so much hate from people. I still will never understand why people make fun of the way people eat and watch mukbangs... what? and Nik is not getting fat. He has a bloating problem. I get it because I also have a bloating problem. I do think its related to my eating disorder but no matter what I eat, whether its a big meal or a bite of a piece of fruit .. Ever since he stopped being vegan people find reasons to hate him. Oh because he's not vegan that means he's gaining weight. You can gain weight being vegan too!
