THE Madden Rebuild King. Rebuild God. Lord Bengal King of the Franchise Rebuild. JK all for fun :). Franchise Rebuilds on Madden are just the bees knees and the cats pajamas.
Seriously though, whether it's madden 24 rebuilds, madden 24 rebuilding, madden 24 realistic rebuilds or even madden 24 franchise mode, OR EVEN Madden 24 Superstar Mode I am painfully average. I also talk about NFL Football predictions NFL draft prospects, and the 2024 NFL Draft! - Sport
Falcons were just sitting there with their Penix in their hand
💀
You’re wild for this one
Hahahaha
BAHAHA
The Penix move feels like Atlanta was playing Madden and let the AI do their draft
They let the Madden mock drafts decide who they take 😂😂😂
AI wouldn’t even take penix
They miss clicked in Madden 😭
falcons paid kirk 4 years 180 mil to select another qb at pick 8 😂
Penix finna make Kirk the new matt flynn
They can cut him after 2 years.
aka The Falcons are scared of Kirk’s torn Achilles.
@@commanderjoj6426yeah, I think that could be the main reason, but it’s hard to understand why they picked Penix, when we could have got Jared Verse, Dallas Turner, or Laiatu Latu, it makes honestly no sense
@@gerardocordeiro6842none of them were worth a top ten pick. Got the QB of the future to step into a ready made team
The weirdest thing about the Penix pick is that if you want to take a developmental guy who won’t start for 3 or so years, 21 year old JJ McCarthy was right there.
Yeah I thought the same thing. If your trying to do a Jordan love then why not take the younger, more raw, project quarterback
If the falcons took McCarthy at 8, it wouldn't be that weird because he's young, high upside, and could use 2 years to sit. But Michael Penix is 24, at earliest he'll be 26-27 when he gets on the field unless they think Kirk is going to be injury prone.
So they draft the most injury prone QB we've seen in a decade lol. Falcons masterclass
& if they thought that, why the hell did they pay him?
Penix will play week one.
I agree i've actually had the Jets draft JJ a few times in my mocks as well.
@@vinylrichie0070 chance penix starts week 1. Ryan Pace tried to sit Trubisky behind Glennon and Fields behind Dalton.
Falcons gm fully believes that penix will sit behind cousins this year
the falcons paid almost 200 mil for a mentor to a QB that’ll damn near be 30 when he gets the keys 💀💀💀💀
Lol
Falcons must have misclicked
"I scrolled to far my bad"
Nah they had auto draft on
Cant believe the Falcons took an unsolicited Penix Pick
Penix will be 27 years old, time Kirk’s contract expires.
28 the start of the first season post kirk
Penix will play when he’s ready regardless of the Kirk situation. Someone’s losing their job at the falcons when that happens 😂
I still cannot believe that the Falcons took Penix. The Falcons FO tried to outsmart themselves
Absolutely insane draft. Everyone drafting QBs handed over great defense players to teams that the league surely did not want to allow and then the Chiefs surely got their guy. It really is chalked. I imagine that this will go down as an awful class purely because of how many top 15 guys there were
I like your take on Bowers as I feel the same. Bowers, imo, is an elite prospect and as long as the Raiders have a plan for him, he can be ultra-productive
Man I thought Cooper DeJean would go #1 overall!
I can't believe he's still available.
Pearsall was a great pick. Gritty, first guy in last guy out type receiver I heard…….
Pearsell is a practice squad talent stop
@@123shoshanit’s a joke bro 💀
@@123shoshan bro what?
As a saints fan, I think the falcons made a great pick😭
Bengal is on fire for all these uploads. Like, comment, subscribe folks!
Please make a video like last year where you rank each first round pick from worst to best and thanks for all the hard work you put in, deeply appreciated
Bro not only did they take a backup QB at 8, they could’ve had JJ McCarthy…
McCarthy is overrated asf
@@reecypeecy9909he's much much better than 24 year old glass penix 😂
@@reecypeecy9909 Yeah but he's 3 years younger and doesn't have the injury history Penix has. Plus I think he could benefit from sitting behind Kirk Cousins.
Michigan didn’t even trust McCarthy to throw 😂
Poor penix. His team is hoping that he doesn't play for 4 years
Of course Bengal loves the 2 TE sets
Seems like they are taking a similar approach to the Packers with the Rodgers and Love picks... but it's very different when you're grabbing a developmental QB prospect in the mid 20s as opposed to the top 10. I guess, if Penix becomes an elite QB in 3 years, they'll be happy. Strange decision
let’s go bengal!!
Falcons 💀💀
i heard the falcons are trying to do the jordan love thing with penix but they should’ve waited they could’ve got sanders or ewers next year who are younger and wouldn’t have to sit through the kirk contract as long
My most surpising picks were Michael Penix, Ricky Pearsall, and then Bills trading with the Chiefs.
The worst part of the Falcons pick is that he’s just not that great of a prospect. Even if they never signed Kirk, taking Penix at 8 is wild, you could’ve had an elite prospect to fill a hole on your win now roster, but you take a low ceiling old injury prone Quarterback?
Penix at 13 to the raiders would have been a fine pick. To the falcons made absolutely no sense
Who's falcons GM?
@@jay-r-raider3119 terry fontenot. in the 3 years he's been here, he's reached in the first round every time - bijan robinson, drake london & kyle pitts - all taken too high. he straight sucks.
@@KP5000all while the defense is ass
Atlanta's pick feels like an owner pick. I cannot believe a GM made that pick of his own free will lmao.
I'm not even an Atlanta fan and that pick pissed me off
That boneheaded move ensured Rome Oduze was headed to the Bears 😂😂😂
Olu going to my favorite team and being as big of a Bengal fan as me damn cant love the Pick anymore than I already do.
Bengal morgan for the packers could end up playing tackle and tom moves in to center, tom is light for being a tackle and tom could play center
The Falcons are that one kid in class who ruins the whole pizza party, lol
I think the falcons might be thinking that Kirk Cousins is someone who can take them to the playoffs, but not make them a true contender. They prolly think that Penix can develop for 2 years and take them from a playoff team to a true super bowl contender.
I love Penix personally think he was qb3 in this draft but this was crazy. If someone traded up and took him at 8 it’d make sense but falcons r weird
If the Falcons grabbed JJ, they would have a young qb that’s not already in a certain form.
Also I really like the Pearsall pick. I think he’s more like Samuel than Aiyuk, but I like Ricky because he is athletic, tough, and can beat the hell out of man coverage. That’s what prime Deebo is.
insane that if everything goes right for the falcons, penix doesn’t start a game on his rookie deal
A first round pick imo should always be on a guy you're planning on starting day 1. 2nd and 3rd round guys are guys who you think would have a legitimate chance to earn a starting position. And 4-7 are the guys who you think you can develop, or you picked them to have a decent backup. There is no reason anyone in their right mind would have picked Penix at 8 after paying Kirk what the Falcons are paying him.
Haha Penix let’s pick him for giggles
At first I was a little disappointed in the Bowers pick, but ya know the longer I've had to think about it I'm pretty happy with it. For once we took a player that was a consensus top 10 pick, and I'll take that.
morgan was Gute’s first offensive player other than Jordan Love that he’s taken in the first round. the only 2 offensive players taken between Aaron rodgers and jordan love were bryan bulaga and derek sherrod
Of course bengal likes the 2 TE set pick from the raiders, definition of a falcons franchise move
I like Penix on that team but I couldn’t make sense taking him there.
As a Saints fan, I couldn't be happier with this round. We got an amazing tackle, and the Falcons got a QB to sit on their bench for the next four years😂. FTF!
Broncos adding another mid qb go their qb room was also weird
I actually like Penix and rate him highly (mid-late first round talent). The thing that make the pick weird is they already have Cousins.
What if they got Penix for the primetime games
All those weapons for...Aiden Oconnel 😅
Can confirm this is falcons franchise
You just know Bengal will do a falcons rebuild and take a 90M cap hit to get rid of Kirk because Penix has hidden dev 😂
I’m exceedingly pleased as a Lions fan
The Falcons grand plan was probably to take a QB next year, however because of tampering they're convinced that they're going to forfeit next year's 1st (which means they know they're super guilty). So they just went ahead and took the highest QB on their board now. It's like bad on top of bad decision making.
I get the initial reaction of shock for the Penix pick, but looking at it now it feels fine to me. Kirk is a large contract, but if the Broncos taught us anything, QB contracts are moveable. And with how many games Kirk wins, they will not be drafting high for a QB until he is gone. So this is a chance to focus on the now with Kirk and the long term future with a QB talent many teams reportedly tried to move into the top 10 to draft. This will be a draft pick that will age well like the Jordan Love pick from a few years ago.
I agree, it’s just penix is already 24 while McCarthy is 21, and we could choose either
Moveable? Their roster is going to be garbage because they're not even benefiting from the qb rookie contract. If that's what you took from the Denver situation, go back to school.
Belichick called the Pearsall pick
As a Washington fan, I’ve watched Michael Penix for the last two years and he’s been great and I’m not surprised he’s a top ten pick but the Falcons picking him is truly baffling
Falcons turned on Autodraft
I feel like even the casual fan knows which picks here were shocking haha
Penix is gonna be 28 when kirks contract is over 😂
I think Vikings picking Turner at 17 should be shocking. Not so much that they need him. Rather that he was still there. He was supposed to go to the Falcons at 8 (part of the Penix effect).
Please do the Patriots for Madden 25 franchise
As a raiders fan I love the Brock Bowers pick
I was shocked at the Pennix pick, at first. But if you consider the real world reasons, it makes plenty of sense. Arthur Smith just got fired because he didn't get a QB. Raheem Morris is an AA Coach who has been fired before. He's not going to get a 3rd chance, and he knows it. Hes making sure he can stack wins now and in the future and in case of injury to t QB.
If that’s the case why would you get the most injury prone qb in the class who is also 24, no long term upside causes he’s old and no standard for consistent play cause he’s injury prone. Absolutely horrific pick when Byron Murphy is on the board and their best dtackle is 37
@@ebowden1168so your saying they no other qb can get hurt coming form collage to the highest level of the sport with more athletic faster stronger and smarter players. Who’s to say Caleb will work out it’s Chicago no fan has anything to say about the quarterback position
@@youngsizzle444 how is that what you got from his comment?
Penix mightier than the Sword.
Falcons should’ve traded back got value and take a qb in the second round, they messed up my colts board we could’ve trade up with them and got rome or bowers would’ve fell if they took another position like pass rusher, the raiders took bowers cause he was best available and didn’t know what else to do when even they could’ve moved back and got a corner or something
My take. Gutekunst really is going out on a limb. Gute took the #7 OL picked in the 1st Round when he had the options of the Top RB, #2 DT, #2 LB, or #3 Corner (all positions the Packers are looking to pick in this draft). Arguably passed on two better ranked OL in Guyton and Barton. So, he drafted the 9th ranked OL with an injury history on his knee.
I don't know about anyone else but if Morgan isn't a perennial All-Pro then that 25th pick was a massive opportunity missed to get a special player at a position of need.
The Dolphins taking Chop Robinson that high when he probably would have been around in the second round makes very little sense.
Ngl I thought this wasn’t shocking I said this during the eagles pick that they trade up and just take a CB because of the Cam situation
I can confirm that this is in fact, falcons franchise.
I’m old enough to remember when people cared that their QB was coming off a torn Achilles. One wrong step and this move is genius.
unfortunately you're not accounting for the known fact that kirko chains is an atl soulja who is now impervious to injury
but they don’t care that penix has torn his acl twice and had multiple shoulder injuries
Then why did they give him 100m guaranteed?
Odunze was right there. All the best defensive players too.
Before I even watched this I'm guessing Michael penix Jr and bo nix
Penix pick is probably the worst pick of all time, and that’s saying something
People were talking shit about our bijan pick last year, it’ll be fine
If it actually works out then no it's not.
its a great pick. they solidified the next 12-15 years at the qb position. don't overthink it
Even if Penix is a bust this isn’t even top 5 worst picks of all time
I don’t think is the worst, I like that we picked Penix, but is hard to understand, specially because we just payed a 36 year old a 100 million guaranteed contract hahahaha
insane that Bo Nix at 12 didn't make the list ngl
I hate the Falcons so much 😭
Raiders gonna do a two sets TE duh and everyone kept saying that oline positions are deep. No??😮
Bengal did you sleep? Cause i sure didnt. Glad we got Maye. Hope he can sit for a year and learn.
so pissed raiders went to left field and got brock... wanted him so bad on the saints
I think raiders were going to take Penix and when falcons shocked the world the raiders just went bpa
Krik can be cut after 2 years the penix pick is fine. I personally like it. Also them looking at losing thier 1st next year plays a role in this.
Losing their 1 next year made them reach, for a back up? Whatever you need to tell yourself to cope.
Falcons forgot to turn off Auto Draft.
As a falcons fan, I’m not mad at the pick, I’m more confused than anything, it’s weird considering the context that Atlanta has right now, that they didn’t wanted an Edge Rusher is ridiculous, I just hope Atlanta gets Braden Fiske, or even Tevondre Sweat, maybe getting Cooper DeJean in second round which I doubt, I don’t know how to feel about this hahahaha it was weird hahahahaha
Kirk is 33 coming off a torn acl bro his body is deteriorating it’s insurance
Is this falcons franchise?
I feel like Atlanta is trying to do what the Packers did with Jordan love
Like what Lions are doing.
Yea I’m sad they stole terrain Arnold lions are savages in the draft, packers just really passive
As a Vikings fan, if the falcons took JJ McCarthy at 8 id understand that way more. Very young qb to sit behind cousins. Taking a page out of the packers book. And me personally I really like penix as a prospect and would've been fine with having him over JJ. So if I'm being honest. What if falcons and Vikings end up doing a trade of QB? (Maybe even Vikings getting picks since falcons would most likely be the ones initiating it.) Something like what happened with brees and rivers
It was Rivers and Manning. What makes you think the Vikings actually want Penix? And if the Falcons wanted JJ, they could have taken him. Smoke less weed.
Kirk is the highest paid bridge QB ever 😂
If not even bengal can rationalize the falcons pick you know it’s a truly terrible pick
Latu not being here is crazy
I really wanted him to go to the Rams. Not because I'm a fan of theirs but because his first and last name begin with L.A. 😄
Terry Fondoe might have said the most unintelligent thing I’ve ever heard. If penix doesn’t see the field till year 4 or 5 WHY DRAFT HIM TOP 10. He’ll be damn near 30. If I worked for Atlanta and was in that draft room I would’ve walked out and put in my notice
Falcons should have given Kirk a 2 year deal and roll the other years if Penix doesn’t work. McCarthy was on the board and would have been better for the falcons. Younger and would be 25 when cousins deal expires…..
Idk if we learned anything from the 2023 season it’s the value of the backup QB. If you can have a solid QB on a rookie contract why not? When Cousins gets hurt, and in the next 4 years he will. The script will flip on this pick…
I like Penix but wtf are the falcons doing here Idc how he turns out it's not the right pick it does not make sense but I'm happy it happened cuz I'm here for chaos as long as it's not my team lol
gene dangus would have never let the falcons take penix
Safety or corner at 8. If safety, we have a lot of depth and maybe we could consider a move to inside linebacker. If corner, let's move this aging guy to safety.
Niners fan here. I can’t believe we wasted a pick on a WR at 31 when Guyton was still sitting there right before Dallas took him. We have 10 fucking picks TRADE UP TO GET A DAMN LINEMAN. I’m so pissed man wr was not a need
Penix will end up being one of the best players in the class
Packers gonna put Zach tom at center
How tf did the lions reach if the guy was projected to be top 15 picks
That Penix pick is atrociously bad.
Falcons by far and away had the WORST draft i’ve seen in a long time. taking Penix anywhere near the top 10 is absolutely brain dead
I'm an Eagles fan who moved to Atlanta 2 years ago. The Falcons haven't done a damn thing to win me over in that time. They make moronic picks every single year. Smdh
