Dell and Hewlett-Packard are among the 32 companies that have applied to make laptops in India.
Raghuram Rajan is an economist cum politician and staunch supporter of the opposition Congress Party. I would take his comments with a pinch of salt.
From Apple to Samsung to Foxconn to Sony , all major electronic majors are all opening new factories already. Slowly but surely we are getting there
don't forget put mega factory boasting 🇮🇳🐒🐵
1726 foreign companies have left India for one year.
Next step should be appliances like Washers, Driers, Fridges, ACs etc. They are already made in India by Korean and other companies. Give the companies incentives to start export too. These are big ticket items too and don't need as many imported components. For example, the steel, plastics, glass and electrical components in these items don't need to be imported. Would be a good idea to capture some of that market.
10 years to come every product in Africa will be Indian. In 2010 we still had made in Japan
Due to the overcapacity of Chinese electronic and EV and solar panels Africa and world no need for apples foxxcon dell all these companies going to scrap

Too much noise. India needs to talk less and do more. I know Vishwaguru is a PhD in marketing, but too much noise is also not good
Paid PHD to make noise
Can you please be specific, what is "do more"? Because other real PHDs in Chicago and Carnegie Mellon will counter argue your ideas.
