- Here's everything you need to know about the 2025 Chevy Equinox. I personally recommend the base LT model as Chevrolet did a great job in offering plenty of standard features. See my 2025 Subaru Forester Video: • 2025 Subaru Forester.....

The exterior styling looks great. If only under the hood was a 2 liter turbo, I would have definitely consider this SUV a future purchase.
I agree! No thanks to the current motor they are using!
Chevy is finally stepping it up. If it turns out to be junk, they will end up on used car lots. Chevy, watch your quality control, build Toyota quality, you will sell this model. Consumers are tired of vehicles not holding up. They will buy Toyota because Toyota has good quality control. Chevy, want to sell more vehicles, start listening to the consumer. The unions are your worst problems, they don’t take pride in what they do. Just like education, public unions get tenured and don’t care about their students. Of course, not all teachers are that way. Quality at a competitive price is what the consumer wants. Wake up vehicle manufacturers!
Looks good! I know that is too soon, but...how 'bout reliability? :)
We all know Chevy can’t sell on reliability
1.5T has been used a good amount of time so I think they got it down. Might be underpowered but it’s a more reliable than before
I like the direction Chevy is taking with their infotainment screens. Reminds me alot of the Cadillac Escalade screen (though smaller of course). That's pretty impressive for something at this price point.
Looking at some of the other 2024 and 2025 Chevy models coming out, other cars/trucks are getting a similar layout as well. It's a good look.
Looks like it's grown up, it looks pretty good.
Yea I agree! They did a good job with this, its certainly lost that budget rental car vibe
I like the look
It's about time Chevy step their game up, looks way better than the old model equinox.
For sure!
Why would Chevrolet use a CVT transmission in the FWD and the 8-speed transmission in the AWD models. Personally, I would never own a vehicle with a CVT transmission. Great looking redesign. Hopefully Chevrolet offers a larger optional engine for better performance if so desired. If the FWD models were equipped with the 8-speed transmission that would be my choice, but sense it is not, I would go with the AWD 8-speed transmission with the larger, better performing engine if offered. I have done research on CVT transmissions and the way they work, and their internal parts is reason enough to stay away from any vehicle that has one. I can't believe so many manufactures use them. You will never see them used in heavy duty or high HP vehicles.
Looks good now it has been fugly for a while...
The 2025 Equinox with a 2.0 T engine and 8 speed transmission would be great. And offering wheels that are not black. Not a fan of black wheels. Wheels are the jewelry of a vehicle. One can hope this black wheel craze will one day fade away. At least give us an option of something other than black wheels.
It def looks better than the rental car vibe previous gen one
Agreed!
What will the active trim cost
Shame on General Motors for not producing any hybrid vehicles. Toyota, Hyundai and Honda, who all produce quality hybrid SUVs, are going to eat their lunch over the next several years. The redesigned Equinox would be a home run if they offered a hybrid variant with better power and gas mileage.
GM will offer full EV of the Equinox...
Hud는 없는건가요? 요즘 시대에?
Hopefully it will be affordable i love to get it under $30,000
Chevy nailed it this time but the engine. 1.5 liter is a turn off. @GM please put a better engine 2.0 turbo or 2.4 liter naturally aspirated or 2.4 turbo. I will never buy a 1.5 liter turbo ever.
I agree. Looks great, but a 1.5L? Give me a break.
I agree 100%
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
👊🏾👍🏾👍🏾
To bad no hybrid big mistake that’s what I want next year
is it looking good? Yes, it is. is it reliable? absolutely not !!
Yea everyone sings the reliable song and choose not to think outside of the traditional means of purchase 😞
@@MeynMotorGroup I'm surrounded by coworkers who own Chevy brand Vehicles. I'm a Toyota owner. All Chevy Vehicles SUVs. or Trucks or Cars. in a matter of two to three years, it begins with severe rust starting with the rocker panel. my Toyota is 12 years old and it's in a better shape than any of the 3 to 4-year-old Chevy. not to mention the electronics/electrical mess. and no one at the Chevy dealer was able to fix it. so reliability is a very important question regarding track record. Toyota is not perfect. but at least they address their issues. GM few people have to die before they take action. they don't stand behind their product.
@@East17A yea they def are on the scummy side but def no car is perfect sadly
Yo bro 🤝😎🫡
Hey bro thanks for dropping in on this Equinox vid!
@@MeynMotorGroup No problem bro 🤝😎🫡
The old one has been crap for years. Only a fool would think that's suddenly going to change.
Nice another car that looks the same from Chevyyy
Yup!
I totally seen the thumbnail and said “hey ain’t that already a Chevy?”
Looks so much better!
Best looking one to date....but hard pass, had a rental one not too long ago, they are transportation, but not for me.
Yea I don’t blame you my friend just one generation ago, these things were hot garbage and not just in looks either
I advised my "frugal" wife, just pay for a car, that thing felt like a stage coach. With that said, how you buy that over the other choices is the business of the one laying out the money. With money now at 7 percent, probably more for the average buyer, the mathematical equation of used value and high payoffs sounds like a very unsound decision in my opinion. You'd probably be ahead building your leg strength and buying a rickshaw.
@@jeffamburgey7485 exactly I'm not being facetious when I say ride the bus for $50 a month. If the average person can make that work where they live, their savings would sky rocket
When money was free you dealt with a depreciating asset with few exceptions. You add 8 percent or higher rates and longer terms, it can give upside down a new meaning. The numbers don't lie, the lie is how we move them around in our head to suit our thoughts. I've been guilty as anyone else, but I try to learn as I go.
@@jeffamburgey7485 facts yes sir, these interest rates are crippling compounds the problem for the average person that is not researching the best deals and incentives because the other problem is, MSRPs have sky rocketed from 3-4 years ago.
Speaking of trash deals since interest rates are like 1% for Camaro LT1 leases, I’m kinda sort of thinking of pulling the trigger. Payments like $550 a month a few years ago they were 350 a month
