I had this level glitch on me once, with the basilisk vanishing, just as I was about to put the sword in it. Had to quit and start again :P
Still use the sword the Basilisk is just invisible and it should go to the place where you put the sword up its mouth

I’m replaying this game but I remember when I did for the first time about two years ago, I really liked your videos and you have such a good voice for this too! Right now I’m just watching as I’m at work for background noise and it’s been nice. I’m actually going to make a little challenge and watch all of year 1-4 before I unlock free play on everything to see what I can find from memory

What’s the blue sparkly coin near the basilisk head at the very end I can never get it and in this video u didn’t really pay any attention to it is it useless or decoration ? Maybe a marker to show where the sword goes ?

So I am just using quirellmort right now and despite him being flagged as a parselmouth it refused to trigger the entrance in the bathroom so I guess it can only be Harry. Which is dumb tbh, all things considered it would make even more sense for a version of Voldemort being able to open it over Harry =S
I looked at my screen and I got the crest fanatic and I heard u say "crest fanatic!!" and I was like 0_0
OMG. I'm watching this and getting True Wizard up to this level. And it's only now dawning on me that the x6 multiplier I have still needs to be turned on in the options. Grrr.

Hey your videos have been a big help for getting the collectable and I know it's been a long time and I'm on the ps4 version for the green part of the house crest I can't get the pieces to build the musical instruments and I've evan restarted the level got any tips?

Fierce Tiger It is possible, but not likely any time soon. We have 3 new Lego games due out starting next month and will be covering those full time. However, when we get done with those, anything is possible. It really comes down to if enough people request the series or not. It is a pretty old game, but we do get an occasional request for it. Just keep asking and hopefully it will get enough requests! Will you be getting Lego Jurassic World next month?

This may be an odd question, but I’m on PS4 and it is only allowing me 3 characters at a time in free play. 2 from the original story and one of my choosing. So for this level I wanted either Snape or Lucius. But I couldn’t because it gave me Hagrid and Harry as well. Am I missing something where I can change around my characters in free play? Or where all the original characters are available to me plus the ones I need like griphook and a dark arts wizard too? Thanks! (I’m playing the remastered version if that helps!) your videos have been extremely helpful so far!! Thank you so much!

Okay if you guys are playing on PS4, mine wouldn’t let me select Grip Hook and Snape at the Same time since I have hella ppl and not Tom Riddle yet so I connected two controllers and picked them myself 😂 then made one Drop Out after pressing options. Working fine as of now will reply ab it!
What's the glowing blue stud looking thing next to the basilisk? Before you stab it and end the level. How do i get that?

@@jessyjessy451 i can't remember the source but i saw somewhere someone commented that its just the indicator of where to take the sword to. Dunno if it's accurate or if i just wanted to give up but that comment satisfied me so i hope this can put an end to your struggles too 😂😊

Have you tried restarting your system yet? Often a simple restart will correct issues like this one. Hope this helps!

Can someone help me here please? I know this is an old game bug it’s just been released on ps+. I have gone through the game to this point but at the basilisk u say I need a Dark Arts teacher such as Snape. I don’t have him but I followed ur video on how to get him on ur free play but I can’t get into the right side of the bell tower for the bit with the three green keys. Goodness this is so frustrating. How can a kid do this if an adult can’t. Cheers anyone

what do u do if the instruments aren't there? ??
Oh no... where they not there for you? My first thing I would try would be to do a system restart and replay the level to see if that corrects it. Often a simple system restart will correct issues like this one. Let us know what happens!
+HappyThumbsGaming the instruments aren't there for me either and I've replayed 4 times, story and free play, just in case I'm gonna try again after resetting my system

+HappyThumbsGaming I figured it out! U had to hit the baslisk with a spell simple reducto. Plus little tip for free roam. If u go into professor flitwicks classroom further and there is a silver padlock, make sure u have dark arts cuz it won't open again if u go out. Tried it didn't work 😪 so I chose a different loaded game. Plus plus your videos r so much help thnk u ! Ur awesome!!!
