- Explore the inner workings of a chiller plant in this engineering tutorial that breaks down its key components and operational principles. From the centrifugal compressor and condenser to the evaporator and expansion valve, learn how these elements collaborate to facilitate the chiller plant's cooling process. Gain insights into the technology that drives HVAC systems and chiller plants, and discover how they contribute to effective temperature control in buildings. The video also presents a practical scenario within a building's HVAC system to illustrate the real-world application of these concepts.

Its a wonderful and old system as well, but still in use especially for large buildings.🏬 I have seen these chiller plants in wide use in the Persian Gulf states from way back in the early 1970's. One of the uses of the chiller plant was in the making of large ice blocks which were sold to customers for transporting fish or making cold drinks etc.🍹 There was another much older system that used Ammonia, and I think it worked in a different way, like not use a compressor but a flame. I read about it when I was doing my engineering studies in the 1970's-80's, but havn't looked into it.
I still see a few Ammonia plants, mostly in breweries and places like that. Absorption chillers also seem to be making a come-back.
❤❤❤
Very Nice 👍👍👍
As Always Very Helpful ❤
Thank you 🙏
Finally some humour ❤
Yay finally hvac video, please make more!!
A whole course is planned!
Great information. Do u have any video on air cooled chillers?
Wow!! I had lost touch with this channel for a while since having to make a new username. Chillers are so cool 😎
Yes they are!
What an inspiring intro 😂
That intro cost a fortune 😀
Cookies and Burps are hard to come by, you are right
5:45 😂😂
Hi Can you make videos on Modular Common Rail System used in Diesel Generators.
Tricky. It is possible. I guess we would need some sort of animation to show the concept properly. I will put it on the list.
@@savree-3dThanks for all the content that you make. Really helpful on my job and during interviews.
Kindly Grant Some More Free Videos 🎉
Leave a comment if you have video suggestions please. Next video is about a gas turbine or combined cycle power plant (not sure yet).
hi, I think the intro vs commentary audio levels are a bit out of whack, or at least the electronic sounds are much harsher so they come across louder.
