Singapore is a beautiful urban city. It is very comfortable to live here with its cleanliness, first-class public transport, safety, and all the amenities around the corner if you earn enough. Of course, it is not for everyone.
I have been to Singapore a few times - once via JB as well. In terms of halal food, the restaurants along the marina where the Merlion is located don't serve Halal food generally so what I suggest is take the MRT from Marina Bay Sands to Bugis MRT (only 2 stops) which will take you to Sultan Masjid and Haji Street and right there are plenty of Halal restaurants in abundance. There is a few Halal places in Little India as well.

That is the VEP But it is only chargeable on weekdays not on weekends & public holidays Also there are other charges about under SGD10 each time you cross OUT of Singapore by car Then there is road toll charges if you trigger them. Quite a unique situation if I am honest. In general commuting times on a ''good day/non peak'' is 1 hours each way. If not 2+ hours depending on the traffic at both sides. One would wake up at 5AM just to commute to work. Believe it or not there are even school children from primary to tertiary who do this. The good thing is that RTS Link (metro train linking JB and SG) is under construction and is expected to complete in 2026. In KL there is Templer Park (also with hot spring), Forest Research Institute in Kepong (with its own Botanical Garden and Skywalk). While in Melaka there is a Botanical Garden next to the state zoo in Ayer Keroh, not far from thr Butterfly Park. As to waterfalls look up for Air Terjun (translated in Malay language).

Very expensive city...be careful...so many no, no, no, no...and get fined by the state...
Well Singapore is called a "FINE" city 😊. Just don't break the law and you'll be fine.
You learned the hard way😂 Singapore is a zero activity city...
Really? We went to KL, but we could not find any decent activities for the kids except eating. We went KL Bird Park complete waste of money.
😂😂😂😂 you never been in kl @@changetheworldforbetter
@@jonidjoharijonidjohari5385 I went several times and the only thing I like is plenty of halal food and cheaper. If you know some activities with kids worth the time and foreign inflated price tag, share those here. We may try next time.
@@changetheworldforbetter why u thibk the birds park a complete waste of your money..?even for me as a local..i luv it so much i bring my wife n daughter couple of time..the birds not in cage..like u will find it in any zoo..plus its quiet massive my daughter really enjoyed it..dats her fav place n the other one subway lagoon
@@amin-dl2dn I went there a few months ago. Most cages were empty and very run down place. It is not worth 75 ringgit per person for tourists. For local, I guess the fee is very low which is why you feel worth the money. In comparison to other zoos/ bird parks, it is almost empty sorry to say.
The wage triple now
I find it unjust the moment this video started. Ofc you're singing praises of Malaysia when you compare British pounds to Malaysian ringgit. I'd think Singapore is tiny but we've done so well since splitting from Malaysia. I still love Malaysia but Singapore deserved love, too. We're tiny and urban but it's impressive how Singapore dollars is 3.5x stronger than Malaysian ringgit. If that's not impressive, idk what is. Says alot of Johoreans willing to cross border work in Singapore earn our money and enjoy it back in JB
It looks great and everything but it's not real nature. It is artificial and not grow naturally. It was planted there. I would prefer spending my money on something real nature and forest. Yes Singapore is expensive.
My friend from singapore want to move to malaysia or indonesia..due to diplomtic/economy/military tied with the israel
Many regrets so much stayed in Indonesia after a year or so. .. especially the thieves... In almost every part of the country... 😎
@@dinn-mj4nx at least u notice u r getting rob .while staying in singapore .your money will be gone with the wind..without u even notice..who the heck just took away your hard earn money .,
Why are we talking about politics and Israel on this video? Singapore is Singapore. Malaysia is Malaysia. No one forces anyone to do anything if your friend wants to move I seriously doubt its due to political reasons with gaza and Israel. Singapore's taking the peoples' money away like the wind? What? Spend your money wisely then, do savings, spend frugally..... don't blame the country. Singaporeans are still living in harmony amongst diff races, creed and religion. I have stayed in subang jaya for 2 years, 1 year in jakarta, 1 year in melbourne, 2 years in london, been to france, Turkey, dubai, the list goes on BUT nothing compare to Singapore. Transportation, cleanliness, safety are still one of the best. Nonetheless, to each its own. All the best to your
friend. Please be smart before commenting 😅
@@jannahali28 nothing compare to singapore?dis phrase proof of all your bs..i doubt dat u ever live in all da places dat u just mention..anyway nice joke..i laugh so hard..,🥱 .u think ive never been to singapore?i find it very boring .n the people over there not friendly.
Saira... You think you have time to look up or call my nieces in Spore..
They may be able to guide or give some pointers whilst yr are in Spore??
In Melaka, I will fwd you a no of my niece with a Dental clinic in Melaka
Great job of singapore making that artificial garden.
That's because the small island can't afford to keep forests.
Come back to Malaysia, there are ample of natural waterfalls and recreational forests.
Is $175 per day or per week?
Absolutely per day £175
@@naniaom that's too much. Btw, I heard Singaporeans love Malaysia than their country
@@Hornscope it is normal price for average hotel in singapore..not even the price for luxurious hotel room…I’m not sure if singaporeans love malaysia more, to be honest there’s a bit of envy between both countries…sg envy msia for its bigger land, bigger house, relax culture and low cost of living…msia envy sg for its strong currency, cleanliness, good leader, efficient government, very low corruption…
Singaporean go to Johor to shopping
@@naniaom dat malaysiam who envy the singapore..u talking about around 0 1% of the malayaia population .not worth to mention
Me living on the border (JB) and visiting Singapore every week, I would say it worth to live in JB instead of Singapore
British citizens with pound earnings will live like Kings in Malaysia.
My Norwegian colleague said UK is cheap. How will they live like in Malaysia then?
Correction s'il vous plaits! Like Queen and King or even Empress&Emperor or (Lady& Lord too) 😂 not only in Msia but also in Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam and perhaps Thailand too (?). Being resource impoverished, for several yrs Spore been globally ranked among most expensive city. Marina Bay complex is not for ordinary salary pple. Visited ate drank .....ouch, ouch! Prices hit stratospheric level! Read news reports Sporeans helter-skelter zoomed to Msia to shop essentials, fill up auto gas tank despite itself an illegal act etc.
Singapore is Israhell in South East Asia. It was belongs to The Johor before they sold it to British.
Another typical Malaysian hating Singapore. MINDLESS COMMENTS. Your facts are wrong but oh well Singapore made good decisions and now they are a first world country. Too bad innit? 😂
Hussein Shah was a fool?
@@ZackZainal yes a fool
Think u like more singapore
So you came to Singapore just to compare everything with Malaysia instead of TRYING to do research on the differences and try to enjoy Singapore for what she is.
But somehow the comments here became a space for Malaysians to justify their dislike for Singapore or how they think Malaysia is perfect lol. Sad that as Muslims brothers and sisters we have such proud/rivalry attitude thinking that we are better than others when Islam do not teach us that.
What is JB?
JB stands for Johor Bahru; it serves as the main capital city of Johor State, which is one of the 14 states in Malaysia. across JB it was Singapore just separated by straight of Johor
