You're very welcome! Thank you for watching!
I saw that headline and thought, you don’t look old enough to be 61 years old.
I am going to share this with all my employees and may be my bosses if I get the guts to do so. Extremely extremely helpful.
Did you ever consider, interview, or specifically not consider government/military and related jobs?
😂 not yet! Just a few more years
@@ProductManagerAnthony totally understood. I’ve got friends and colleagues that focus solely on government NGOs, public space. I wonder as I’ve just finished your video how the points you make might change because obviously governments move and budget an entirely different manners. I’ve worked on both sides. But again kudos to you with this and I think all recruiters as well as tech managers should take into account all the valid points that you’ve made. Being a tech manager myself I know this will prompt me to reflect internally as well.
@@NewCastleIndiana Whoops! I didn't see the 2nd and 3rd lines of your original question! I appreciate your willingness to share with your team. As for government / military related jobs, I have somewhat considered those roles in the past. However I've learned that I most enjoy working in smaller sized private companies!
I agree on your point that certain points & learnings here may not exactly apply to government-related companies and positions. Definitely interesting to think about since they do operate pretty differently.
Thank you again for checking out the video and taking the time to comment!
Suppose you were an analyst before and you launched an analytics newsletter for the CXO users (b2b saas), although they loved it and it qualitatively was a success, you don't know the revenue from the renewal so how do you quantify it?
Also, just as a general interviewing process question: how do you stay 100% for each interview you give? often one feels deflated not in spirit but headspace/tiredness with the process itself. Something beyond daily healthy habits like med/run/workout etc?
Thank you for the comment! I'm going to be making a video on this topic soon.
Shivam- I just posted a video on this topic! I hope you’re able to find it helpful.
