Just found this channel and it’s so helpful!

I’m 36. In project management for a tech based distribution company. I most design warehouses with cad professionals and engineers, manage jobs and contractors. I like tech stuff and drawn to it but this hit me after college ( I didn’t have a good compass of what I wanted in college like most people). I find the product manager position. Very interesting. my question is does my prior skill set fit in any way to markets that use product managers and if I go get a certificate as well as learn some things based off of this video would make a good transition to this type of job?

I just completed a 6months hands on experience product manager course and before that I had done a 3 months PM course where I still worked on projects for my portfolio but I still get scared when I see a PM job post. I keep wondering if I should look for internship job posts or apply for the actual job. This video helps.

I think I will just remain an associate PM or a researcher or data analyst on a PM team. That will be good enough for me at this point.

With two years of professional experience, including one year as an Artificial Intelligence Developer and another year as a Product Manager overseeing web, mobile, and AI-based products, I seek guidance on whether to pursue a Product Manager role or transition into a Development role, such as Data Analytics. Despite my passion for Product Management, I'm encountering challenges in securing PM roles. I have an upcoming interview for a PM internship with a monthly salary ranging from 5k to 15k, but some acquaintances question the viability of a PM career at this stage of my career. There are only 24 hours in a day. Too bad that most people can't really work on their personal projects or learn new skills, if they don't have the leftover time to do so, outside of commuting, self-care, other chores, errands, and sleep. Heaven forbid one works two jobs.

Why you lying? Of course the reason in they bring in 300,000 foreigners to fill the jobs every year. There's only 6 million in this industry over 20 years they brought in 1 H1B per job. My gawd why is everyone so desperate to ignore the obvious truth and math? This job is ruined by the government allowing these commie bstrds to manipulate the labor market.

I been searching a new job for a month right now after they layed me off from my past job, now after a few bad interviews i checked whats wrong with my skills and you're right with that part, become the best you can be only in something, becase they're are a lot of goof offers out there, but you can't match all of them.
