Im really digging Rex's character arc. I feel like he's gonna be even colder at fighting after he recovers.
Can't see him being as merciful as always when it goes his teammates killed/maimed and himself almost dead
If they adapt his backstory in a special episode, his arc will get a lot better. He has kind of a messed up childhood.
People can survive headshots as long as the bullet goes straight through like that and doesn’t bounce around inside the skull (and they get very lucky)

rex has no powers. he was trained to be the perfect assassin. He learned several martial arts and gymnastics. Inside his 2 arms he has devices that energize things and make them explode. Along with this, his muscles were modified. to better resist explosions. and he can also lift 500 kg
no its not he wasn't born with powers, he was enhanced with an endoskeletal attachment that allows him to charge anything with kinetic energy to explode. You might be confusing him with someone else. @legion8026

After that he was a government assassin for several years before eventually running away, finding his old family, and discovered they'd had 2 more kids since him and totally moved on and forgot about him.
The character in the green suit who was gobbled up by the Komodo brute is named Shrink Rae or Shrink Ray. I'm surprised she even survived given what occurred in the comics.

Even if she doesn't know it yet, the only reason Nolan changed was because of Debbie.
Mark also had an impact (figuratively and literally), but Debbie still affected him the most.

Another theory for why alternate mark could be evil is that Nolan in the other universes never lied to mark and told him that Viltrumites were peaceful. He would’ve been told from a young age what he would’ve had to do and thus have far more time to be able to adjust to that reality.

Show only people are in for a treat with season 3 and beyond. Most of the reoccurring characters get their own character arcs and it's really satisfying. Can't wait to see it adapted and which characters people start to love and/or hate. Invincible was such a good comic.
The reason why Rex is alive is because the bullet went through his entire skull, most headshots kill people instantly is because the bullet is stuck in the brain, but since the bullet went through his entire skull it left the majority of his brain still functional, hence why he proceeded to beat Lizard King into a violent pummel

well, Amber already cheated in season one, before the writers rewrote her character for season 2 because everyone hated her, so yea they should just make a clean break and shift delete each others names from their consciousness and be with someone stable for the rest of the seasons, no matter how many there will be.
but it would also be cool if rex and eve got back together
