I literally had this for 2.5 months straight. I went to multiple doctors, had a resting heart rate of 110 and a moving heart rate up to 135. I also had elevated leucocytes. It felt like someone was attacking my body and I was dying. I went to the hospital 3x because I could not walk from it and was constantly on the verge of passing out. It all started after I took the antibiotic xifaxan. Every doctor sent me home or told me they didn't know what to do! I am so appalled while learning about this because I was in so much pain and no one would help me. I had burning in my nerves, ringing in my ears, stabbing in my organs, and burning in my gut. I wish you had been my doctor, wow.

On your list of "other considerations" - was wondering why asthma exacerbation isn't on the list? It also fit 2 of the 4 (elevated resp rate and heart rate) and can be triggered by/co-exist with respiratory track infections.
