My eyes are filled with tears as I sit in the cold of an African sunset. Touched again by God through you Jason. I lost my job in March and at 58 the road ahead is terrfying. In South Africa there are few jobs. You talk straight to my soul. God be with you always Jason you turned my wretched heart back to Jesus.

Wow, I got a job for 2 years ended in Jan23. God stepped in again after me counting clouds for 11 months today is day 2 of a 3 month contract. Tight call this time. Ready to sell my home to survive. God answers prayer. I am back flat on face in praying to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth!

I honestly don't know how to put this into words but for the last few week's, the Lord has been so good to me and not just that, when I look back over my life. Thru the storms, disappointments, crises, hurts and at times my turning away from him. I see how much he was there. Watching over me and I NEVER could have made it this far without him. I know that now.
I still have the fears about tomorrow and am restless in my present, but my heart says to hold on and put my trust in him. Who will NOT relax or release his hold on me. I'm branching out in a new direction and where it goes,I don't know and then I get fearful, when I shouldn't, because honestly, he's ALWAYS provided for me and my family. My ABBA Father ❤.. Thankyou Jason for this gentle, loving, timely reminder to stand on the promises.

Focus on Him more than your troubles and your joy and peace will not be robbed from you. In the book of Hebrews 12:2 encouragea us to look unto Jesus. And when I read this scripture I see that Jesus became victorious because He didn't look at what was happening to Him on the cross (He probably would've give up as the pain was too much) but in the mist of it He set His mind on the promises of the Father, the joy that was set before Him and He prevailed

I don't know if you will ever see this Jason Upton but my mum was a rock and roller the majority of her life before she came to the Lord. When she heard your music and your voice she was in awe. Especially Angel. Sadly I lost my mum in May. I am confident that she has stepped into eternity. Even when I saw this song premiering my heart sunk. Thank you for your obedience to Christ. We shared some of our most special times worshipping together to your music. So thank you

The song Freedom, was never so needed, as now. It still knocks my socks off! I’m glad you still create music.
