We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!
TCL , I had such a hard time getting the hose to stay put. Even with the instructions & video given. Maybe the next model can have a better design for the hose fitting the connectors.

I bought mine last 2018 nd we always use it. But lately it has suddenly become noisy and is not cooling. We have cleaned the unit already but still it doesn't cool. What could be the problem?
I'd stick with a window unit. The reason is because floor portable ones are inefficient. That's because it's taking the cool air from the room and expelling it outside to cool the compressor fluid. This results in warm air making its way back into the house. A duel hose portable is much more efficient. They still work, and work well, but will consume more energy. A window unit has the compressor and heat exchanger outside, so no negative pressure is created in the room. They can also leak water if used in a very humid environment unless you have a drain hose like the video showed.
My TAC-09CPA is horrible. It always goes on fan even it is in cool mode. It changes every few seconds that’s why it didn’t help to cool my 20 sqm room.
You just gloss over the part about the foam insulation, I have no idea what to do with it. You should include the installation of the insulation in this video.
Hey i just got one about a week ago and just ran into an issue that i cant seem to fix. I keep it in cool mode and drain every day but for the first time the compressor turns off after about 10 seconds so its only been blowing the fan anyone else run into this problem?
It only works for up to 250 sq feet so you prob need a wider range model, this is for small spaces. I have high ceilings and all wood house with several windows im unsure if my room is within 250 sq feet seems over, and it works great. Just takes a bit longer like and hour to and hour and a half for the room to be thoroughly cooled. It's been 90+ and its worked out for me. Not as powerful as models for wider range use but they are clear on that just look at the specs
Just bought this unit. Can not get it to enter pairing mode. Says it's wifi capable, even has a wifi button. the poorly written instructions say to press both the mode button and the down button at the same time and your unit will do what its supposed to. Not the case. Spent 2 hours on the phone with a person repeating the poorly written instructions in a heavy accent with the same result. Was advised to carry this heavy ass thing back to your little car and bring it back to the store. warranty be damned. customer service is just people reading the written instructions. no problem solvers there. Feel like being pissed off and listening to shitty music on and off today? buy this product
Would love an actual assembly guide instead of a glorified advertisement that glosses all the hard parts of the assembly. Assembly manual that came with it is a bour as vague and nondescript as possible. Would not recommend this thing.
