    I was diagnosed with bile reflux 15 years ago and their solution has been to reduce my stomach acid. To be honest I'm not even sure my GP is aware that the diagnoses my gastro doctor gave me is not the same thing as acid reflux. I have bad daily nausea and spend about 1-2 days a week vomiting all day. Makes working outside the home impossible and having a life in general impossible. I also have gallstones that I've had since I was a kid that is related to this problem like he said in the video. Well done, great video.

    • @tacocat8608
      @tacocat8608 Před 3 měsíci +3

      The theory as he mentioned is that bile is supposedly coming up into the stomach “to reduce the amount of stomach acid.” This is why they give you stomach acid reducing medication like proton pump inhibitors, which only end up making things worse you can understand from watching this video. If it’s true the upper and lower valves are triggered by stomach acid, then reducing stomach acid would only weaken those valves and contribute to both bile reflux and upper esophagus reflux.
      This is what I’m dealing with, and none of my doctors seem to understand, including my gastroenterologist. It makes more sense to me that the bile reflux I’m experiencing is due to the pyloric valve, not functioning properly likely as a result of low stomach acid to begin with.
      Compounding the issue, the alkaline bile in the stomach only further reduces the acid, which then opens the valve at the esophagus, and now you have a double whammy. I have not watched the other videos he mentions yet, but I am eager to figure out what’s causing my issue and how to improve it. Good luck to you!

I have done it after 14 years, first time I did it in 2011, I did not realize it that it was the Gallbladder issue that was the cause of my Acid/Bile Issue since 1996. At that time in 2011, I had fatty liver, grade I and Gallbladder Calculus stone of 4.5mm but the latest USG Abdomen Report states that the Gallbladder Calculus Stone has increased to 8mm, though fatty liver is not there, but also there is lipoma in Illiac, so first will be dissolving the 8mm Calculus Stone naturally

      That's what I'm dealing with. I just found out that I have this Bile Reflux and was put on Protonix 40 mg which worked well for about 6 weeks and now it's back. This is really getting old. I alread have chronic pain from other issues so why not add this? I had complications after my surgery so now I'm wondering if they messed something up. I ended up having post op hemorrhage and ended up staying in the hospital for 5 days. If I can't get this figured out, I don't know how much more I can take. If I can't even enjoy my food anymore, what's left? I have lost 20 pounds over a year which is fine because that's what I needed to lose, but now it keeps slowly going lower. My mom had most of her stomach removed from the damage of acid reflux and Adhesions from previous surgeries. Maybe that's what it isl...an adhesion making valves stick or not shut? I don't know anymore. It sucks.

      After two antibiotics and a steroid pk. for pneumonia I now have low stomach acid. Figured out through trial and error. Just started the Betaine HCL and what a difference. Food is finally digesting, no more gas, bloating, belching, feeling of rock sitting in stomach feeling after meal. And bowel movements starting to normalize again. All brought on by the antibiotics/steroid treatment for pneumonia. I've just talked to someone who has all the same symptoms. We've been extremely brain washed to believe it's one problem only...too much acid. I'm sure there are a lot more ppl with low stomach acid that are being misdiagnosed and improperly treated. If you had too much stomach acid I would think you'd know after the first dose of HCL. It would most likely make your situation worse, like putting gasoline on fire expecting it to go out. If instead you feel better than that would suggest you're headed in the right direction.

Hymecromone and artichoke extract 20 min before meals for 14 days, TUDCA 750 mg at night for 3 months. Cooked beetroot is important also for removing toxic bile acids. Do not eat after 6 pm because you dont want bile to be stimulated at night. Slipery elm or psylium husk at night will neutralise bile in the stomach. This can fix the problem

    Tony- hypothetically and for educational purposes only
    What could help a person with bile reflux gastritis if they have insulin resistance hypoglycemia, where blood glucose is high but it’s not getting into the cells.
    Important because taking TUDCA, Ox bile, or Beet flow causes this persons to go into the emergency shakey faint panic feeling of hypoglycemia? And the gastritis is made worse by Betaine HCL.
