I feel like Lance is just put in to make the plot go, that he doesn't have any big meaning to the series. Of course there are a few moments but not as much as like Keith. It break's my heart because he is such an amazing character, but I guess the creators don't agree. I would love to see even some development, like what Pidge or even like what Hunk had. I really love him but I want to see him develope more.

Lance is amazing. At first we all thought he would be our main character but turns out there was more to it. He still is a big part of Voltron and he’s come a long way and has progressed so much throughout his time in space. He truly is relatable *(then again mostly everyone on team Voltron is relatable)* While he has insecurities, he is still calm and tries to think on the good things. That’s what I love about him and I can’t wait to see the day our Cuban boy returns home with his space dad and fam and potential boyfriend (klance shipper right here😉😂) and just be happy again. Not just for him but everyone and the universe.

honestly lance really is the team sharpshooter. someone on tumblr analyzed him when he was shooting the heck out of the warden in escape from beta traz, and pointed out that he never. _fucking._ *_missed._* even when he was jumping in the air. like. what. dude. he is really damn good at shooting things, but none of the team notices because he's always working in conjunction with someone and never missing a shot is a more subtle skill he has. like hunk and keith have both used guns, but hunk just kinda shoots everything, and keith when trying to be careful, still hit the wall a few times when trying to shoot galra drones, and he wasn't even running around.
I wish we could get an episode devoted to telling what lance has been through why he feels like he's a 7th wheel and he's not fit to be on the team ,he's such a precious cinnamon roll I love him so much!
