Probably Thomas Rundqvist. 3rd All-time most games in Swedens National Team. Got drafted by the Habs, played two games and got an injury in his eye, was sent down to Sherbrooke and played the rest of the season there before returning home to Sweden.

I hope Aito Iguchi doesn't give up that dream of playing in the NHL one day. I mean, before Muggsy Bogues established himself, not many people thought a 5'3" basketball player could be a journeyman in the NBA. With that said, it is very unfortunate that the pandemic interrupted things for him.

Given the league has went away from hitting to more skill/speed based, it would be incredible to see someone of his size out there.
Old Man time. Back in my day, there was no way. Imagine Scott Stevens catching him roaming across the blue line Lindros style. Kid would have lost his life. Prime example was Paul Kariya...Stevens let up on that hit.

I mean he doesn't really have any chance. He got a slim chance of even having a pro career whatsoever. His size isn't the main issue. If he was McDavid fast with an elite shot then maybe he could do the impossible but he doesn't have any elite skills.

The kids that have any chance of becoming pro are usually playing on the elite teams with older kids starting at a young age.
