Synopsis:
Squadron Leader Veer Pratap Singh (Shah Rukh Khan) is a rescue pilot with the Indian Air Force. In the line of duty he comes across a stranded Zaara (Preity Zinta)... a girl from Pakistan who has come to India to fulfill her surrogate mothers dying wish. Veer saves her life and his life is never the same again.
Twenty two years later Saamia Siddiqui (Rani Mukerji), a Pakistani human rights lawyer on her first case, finds herself face to face with an aging Veer Pratap Singh. He has languished in a Pakistan jail cell for 22 years and has not spoken to anyone all these years. And no one knows why. Her mission is to discover the truth about Veer and see to it that justice is served.

When Shahrukh all of a sudden starts speaking to Rani and yeh hawa aaj kyun ga rahi hain music starts in the background I don't know why I cry so much with happiness and sadness at the same time. Srk used to be exceptional in movies like this one or swades. But now he is none other than ordinary actors.
Actors have their time. SRK shines in his time.
Problem isn't in actors. Problem is in good stories. There r not much good stories in bollywood now. All r copied. & in the copied version good clean family movies r also turned into something else, it may b because Bollywood is following hollywood culture rather then promoting Bharatiya culture.
Isn't it our fault that his good stories didn't did as to what he expected, so he stopped.
You should watch Fan and Dear Zindagi.
The only thing which went wrong for SRK in the last decade was 'script selection'.
Zero didn't flop bcoz he was in it, infact he was the best part of the film, it flopped bcoz of poor storyline. He'll definitely make a comeback
