- The #2 Nationally Ranked Bishop Gorman Gaels travelled to Draper, Utah to face off vs Corner Canyon and Utah commit QB Issac Wilson.
Hawaii commit QB Micah Alejado led the Gaels to 9 Touchdown scoring drives on 10 offensive possesions. Michigan commit Micah Kaapana had three rushing touchdowns. DeVon Rice rushed for two scores, and also had a touchdown reception on a pass from Micah Alejado. Audric Harris also had two touchdown receptions from Alejado.
The Gaels travel to Portland, OR next week to face Long Beach Poly on the campus of Nike Headquarters. - Sport

CC is a very well coached team to compete with a bigger and faster, not to mention nationally ranked and nationally recruited team like BG. Sooner or later these big teams that recruits every position on the field need to be in a league of their own playing each other every week. CC held their own but most of these teams don't.

Times have changed since I played football, and had to ride the bus to away games. There were games where we traveled over 100 miles round trip and had to eat a sack lunch before the game!

Alejado looks like he's going to be a nice player for UH. The UH starting QB, who was not consistent, is transferring out so the door is wide open for Alejado to start as a freshman.
Alejado needs to work on his footwork on his dropback. He gets choppy with his feet and sometimes takes a couple of steps to settle before he can make the throw. Choppy footwork will cause inconsistent accuracy, but that's definitely something he can get better at. When he sets his feet properly, he's very accurate. I haven't watched enough film to see how his anticipation skills are but from what I've seen so far, Coach Chang and UH have their future starter for at least the next few years.
Texas need to let one of their schools put together an all start team to travel like California and Nevada do.

Corner Canyon deserves credit, They just ran out of gas. CC is half the size of Gorman and probably doesn't recruit even a tenth of what Gorman does...
