I think it comes down to whether or not the jury believes trump had awareness of and approved of the payments. Nothing more. (The fact that trump's signature is on the checks is all the proof they need)
For some people, signing checks they're sent without understanding them is common. But a dozen Trump Org workers verified that Trump knows EXACTLY what is happening with EVERY payment down to below $1000. For me, THAT testimony tells us that Trump knew exactly what was going on... because he ALWAYS knows what's going on with his money.

Before leaving for the weekend, Merchan told the lawyers to be prepared to give summations on Tuesday - meaning the jury could have the case as early as next week.
Prosecutors told Merchan they have no other witnesses to call after Cohen is off the stand, and the defense said it plans to call one campaign finance expert, though that is not set in stone.
Blanche said the defense could still choose to call additional witnesses to challenge testimony, and Trump’s team maintains it has not made a decision on whether the former president will testify in his own defense.
There’s also the possibility, as CNN has reported, that former Cohen attorney Bob Costello could appear. Costello made an impression during a House Judiciary subcommittee hearing Wednesday where he repeatedly attacked Cohen and said “virtually every statement” Cohen made on the stand about Costello was a lie.
The other complicating factor is there are only three days of court next week leading up to the Memorial Day holiday.

This case should have nothing to do with the total presidential immunity decision, since this crime took place BEFORE Trump was president.
Of course Trump should not have total immunity anyways. No president before him ever had total immunity. Trump needs to just stop breaking the law. All of the charges against him are about him breaking the laws to stay in power after he was voted out. Breaking into voting machines, setting up fake electors in the swing states, planning/inciting a violent insurrection where many people got injured and some died is not part of a presidents official duties. Pressuring government officials to throw out Biden votes (Arizona) or pressuring Brad R. to find him 11,780 votes (Georgia) are not part of a presidents official duties. Stealing Top Secret/Highly Confidential national security documents, refusing to give them back, lying to the FBI and hiding the documents from the FBI are also not part of a presidents official duties. Trump still hasn't returned all our national security documents.
Trump was found guilty in 2 civil cases and owes about $564M dollars between the 2 cases. Someone with that type of financial problem should not be able to get a security clearance. Foreign countries would love to buy an American president (and we know Trump would do anything for money - bibles, gold tennis shoes, gold coins, Trump trading cards, steak, perfume, etc). Trump should be no where near our nuclear codes.

Cohen texted an initial reason for the call. But nobody is limited to just one reason for making a call.

Cohen main testimony was that that call was to inform Trump Stormy was paid, that's what he testified. Under sworn testimony he now admits it had nothing to do with Stormy and was a completely different issue. To put it simply he lied.

It is true that Michael has done shady and illegal things - just as Donald has.
There is one difference though: Michael is honest about it and is open to admitting his wrong doings, his lies and to serve time in prison.
Donald is not capable of anything like that. He is only capable of continuously lying and denying - and pointing fingers at more honest people.
The difference is that Michael has some humility - Donald does not know how to come out of a collection of arrogance and continuous his lying.
I (sort of naively) used to have hopes that media would have some depth, some ethical compass - and not just jump on the guy who is ready to be open about things he has done wrong - in favor of the person (Donald) who most of these crimes were performed for (to unfairly affect the US election).

Blanche confronted Cohen with text messages he sent with Keith Schiller - whom Cohen had said put Trump on the phone - which were unrelated to anything having to do with Trump or Daniels.
I don't like commenting on trials and hearings before the court and all but I also keep wondering why someone in Trump's position would need a relationship with a professional sex star. Several years ago when I was young and girls still excited me to some extent I had a contract with a firm . Occasionally I would be put into an environment with 10 - 20 women working together and it became a custom that they would band together and make up some charge against me and all agree that the company should get rid of me. I suspect it was mostly about money and an attempt to make me as miserable as possible and I would be removed from their presence and taken to someone in management and among my conversations was one where I was a slave and slaves weren't allowed to disobey. What was I going to do to correct my behavior as his slave? Management had to know that these girls were dishonest and committing every sort of crime under the sun with their complaints and accusations and all I could do was proclaim innocence. And obviously I would not date any woman in this company because statistically there was too great a probability that anyone I associated with might complain and try to have me put in prison or something. It's bad enough that Government Officials and such will gang up on someone as appears from reading to happen from time to time. So I admit and confess to taking an interest in exotic dancers. These women were paid "professionals" and were just what I needed to relieve the stress of having a herd of cattle trying to ruin my life. The company was relentless. They had one of their Divorced Catholic women follow me around to police my morality and ethics to see if I was moral enough to be around them. And apparently there were reports made that I was enjoying the company of dancers. But I as single. I did not have a girlfriend. I was not having sexual relations. And to be honest I was getting tired of excuses. I see personal development as a part of life and could I really lose status? I guess the end of all this has to do with "intent to defraud". But this is as far as my comments go. Women aren't necessarily honest based on my experience. The woman who investigated me was not only divorced, she had a school age child as well. Personally I consider myself to have been trapped into doing something childish. But better acting like a child (when I was essentially a child) than trying to act like an adult when I was not. And while some people claim that beauty is only skin deep, in my opinion Beauty is Beauty. It certainly does not hurt to gain some understanding of people in life.
