I just ordered a 2024 3500 Big Horn HO Cummins with Aisin. It's going to run me around 85k. Yeah it's nuts. I was going to buy a used one with reasonable miles on the odometer but they aren't that much cheaper.
Biggest problem is the fact that you pay 80K plus for a truck that will Hopefully run trouble free for 5 years, then EGR, Electric gremlins plus every thing in between , will start destroying it. Its not like you are paying all the money for a truck you can give to your Kids 15 years down the line.
Nice video. I gotta say though, any Longhorn,1500, 2500 or 3500, is a rednecks wet dream. I have a 2020 1500 Longhorn and love it. I know the Limited is above the Longhorn but in my opinion, with the black and cattle tan interior ( which I believe you can only get in the Longhorn) puts the Longhorn above the Limited.
Very nice truck but nothing beats Ford's King Ranch interior. I own a F150 King Ranch and drive a Ram 5500 for work. I like trucks in general and these days they're all good trucks for the most part. I would definitely enjoy this truck, Rams are great trucks for hauling.
This is my dream truck. I love the longhorn styling, and the mega cab dually is just...well, it's perfect. Unfortunately, at those prices, I'll have to win the lottery to be able to own one. Surprised to hear you thought it was "bumpy." Given the weight, I kind of expected it'd be relatively smooth. I mean, I know it's got massive leaf springs in the rear, so there'll be some hop there, but that's to be expected in any HD pickup. Screen seemed a little laggy, which is disappointing in something this expensive. I hear Ram (Stellantis) goofed around with the tune for the 2023 Cummins and pretty much ruined the power output compared to the 21/22 models. Might be why it feels like it's not getting out of its own way when you put your foot into it.
@@dallasfrost1996 I don’t agree because the ram has much much better interior quality and materials and better design IMO but the new GMC is better than ever
@@alialnaqbi9753 For the 1500 series I'd say both are pretty evenly matched, however in the HD segment I'd definitely give it to GMC. You can definitely tell the interior in the Ram HD's weren't designed for that cab. The doorcards is most evident, showing the transitions from the original plastic framing to the newer slapped on section. For material quality the Denali Ultimate steps it up by using premium full-grain leather (a more natural type) as opposed to just real genuine leather in the Ram. Also the wood trim surfaces in the Denali Ultimate are of a higher grade as well, using a special kind of high quality open-pore wood. That is known as Palado wood, which is from Indonesia. Alongside these materials, the cabin also includes large sections of brush aluminum trim, unique cross stitching, and just like the Ram, lots of chrome bezels, piano black trim, standard contrast stiching & piping. In terms of overall material usage, I'd give it to the GMC in the HD segment. More of the doorcards in the Denali Ultimate are covered in premium materials, including leather padded inserts in the lower storage section of the front doors as well - Nobody else does this. The Denali Ultimate also comes standard with the premium suede headliner, which isn't available on Ram HD's as far as I'm aware. (I do know that the 1500's with elite package has it though). The Denali Ultimate additonally has the seats from the Caddilac Escalade, meaing they're softer than usual and also have the power massaging feature as well. Either way, they're both nice trucks inside, you can't go wrong with either. Much better than Ford in my opinion.
I’m a RAM guy and drive a Cummins I love now. But GM and Ford have passed them by. It’s way past time for a FULL redesign and a new HD transmission with at least 8 gears.
Ben, do you follow a script written by Ram? You had nothing but praise. You couldn’t find anything negative or something that Ram could improve? Isn’t the point of reviews meant to point out both good and bad about a product?
The 5 different interior textures are an absolute tacky mess but the truck is beautiful. They need to hire someone who knows how to texture/color coordinate lol.
Nice truck 6-speed trans in 2023? 104K yea no thanks Ram needs to update their trucks they are not competitive HD trucks are work trucks, not mall crawlers, it has gotten silly working class cannot afford these "WORK" trucks.
I was considering one of these if Ford didn't schedule my F450 Limited. I got an email with a build date on Thursday of last week. I'm very happy. I strongly prefer the Ford in every aspect.
A solid profile on the 3500 Longhorn.
The "Cracked Design" is a Alligator Skin motif.
I would love to own this truck. $105k is beyond my ability to comprehend why I would buy one.

I have a HO Laramie on my lot for $102,525
2023 Ram 3500HD Heavy-Duty Mega Cab Dually Limited Longhorn 6.7L Cummins Turbo Diesel 6-Speed Automatic 4X4!
Have this exact truck. Stick to single wheel if you're not gonna tow. I use this to tow exclusively, and it's a dream.
My dad has a 2024 ram 3500 long horn limited dually. Come to Houston and you can review it 👍
No 5th wheel attachment points from the factory??

Ram baby ❤️💪
My dream truck !!!!!!!!!!
Love the long horn. Just cant afford it 😢
Longhorn rules since 2013.
That Limited Night Edition you reviewed a few months ago❤😍💯
How do you use the Power Folding / Power Telescoping Mirrors on the 2024 Ram 2500 Big Horn?
Cool Truck bro ( for him). Smile
karl malone dealership that’s dope!

I own this truck in Billet silver. Loaded down with 15k pounds it's butter smooth.
character of a inline is different then a V8 diesel. Both develop power and torque differently :) hope this helps
RAM Longhorn all day!!!!
Well, from what I see, RAM actually took a few steps backward fro my ‘18 3500 Laramie Longhorn! New = more money for cheaper appearance!
I remember a couple years ago, these trucks were around $80k. None of them were around $100k and a $100n is a ripoff
And people are wondering why there is a car loan bubble coming.
Hopefully, it pops before I need to get my next car.
Hands down the best dully pickup interior by far
The Denali Ultimate interior is arguably best in class.

Why, the aisin is still doing better fuel mileage wise. No need for more gears if it doesn't improve anything
Hi Ben, was that trailer steering the same as Ford uses ?, awesome videos
Similar system
Noooo not the full digital. Love Ram but why do they gotta get rid of my physical gauges 😢
Looks like they forgot the gooseneck and fifth wheel kit
For that price, you would think the bed tailgate would be powered like Chevrolet and Ford. Also, do you get 360-view camera on the Ram?
It is powered
It is powered and yes you do get that.

I'd much rather have the GMC. You could get a more refined Denali Ultimate 3500 Dually for the same price as this...
The 5 different interior textures are an absolute tacky mess but the truck is beautiful. They need to hire someone who knows how to texture/color coordinate lol.
It's quite nice when you're actually in one
Blue Oval all the way for me...if I'm gonna have a new diesel, F-250 Lariat Tremor is where its at.
Fords better 😂 it’s nice, but for this price, I’m buying a ford. I like the new mirrors on the rams

known as a Cummins? you sound like you don't know what you're talking about...
The term "Redneck" is nothing more than a label used for labeling people in a derogatory manner.
Shame on you car salesman.
