I would turn on the WJLB radio station out of Detroit on a Sunday morning. It was one of the greatest R&B stations, and did a slow groove across my floors at home to start my day. Yes, this one was also one of my faves. I have to admit. I had a crush on Patti back then . That was my church Sunday morning. Some God sent soulful sounds. It brought me closer to heaven. "Feels Like Another One" (w/Big Daddy Kane)
    "The Right Kinda Lover"
    "Love, Need and Want You"

Since the start of their channel, I've been hoping they'd react to that Labelle song. The cover is from the film/musical Moulin Rouge! with Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor. There is indeed a chance that they’ve heard the cover version before. Like the song Car Wash. Original by Rose Royce from 1976 and covered for Shark Tale in 2004 by Christina Aguilera ft. Missy Elliott.

How about some more Grace Jones? There's 70s Grace with I Need A Man, Do or Die and Below the Belt but the songs from the 80s that Grace still does in her shows to this day are Pull Up To The Bumper and Slave To the Rhythm (you have to see the video). Trevor Horn produced this (you've seen him with the Bugles but he's produced acts like Frankie Goes to Hollywood, Seal, Lisa Stansfield and Tina Turner). Actor Ian McShane does the intro for the track. I'm Not Perfect (But I'm Perfect for You) is another Grace song, this one written/co-produced by Nile Rodgers, with another good video. And there's also her Love On Top Of Love.
