@@Andy_0L I don't remember the whole thing now, but it made her into a little child. I remember one line being "when she falls on her little butt, you can be sure she cries" or some such. 😅
Cara estou tão orgulhoso da minha versão brasileira, a voz e a mixagem está muito boa a letra é mais linda ainda! Man I'm so proud of my Brazilian version, the voice and mix is very good, the lyrics are even more beautiful!
Imagine if internet exists during this era...I think I'd have many friends across the world at 5. I would watch if you play the whole version of each language 😁
I really like the alt. Russian, Thai, Korean and the Cantonese Chinese versions. And of course... the Swedish one, since I grew up with it. It's pure nostalgia for me xD
I can't belive everyone like the Latin Spanish version! For the first time in "all languages of whatever song" everyone prefer my language! Ok...i'm so proud of Mexican dub *cries*
WOW! I'm amazed how you put all these languages in one song altogether! Didn't realized they also made the song in 15 Other languages besides Japanese and Tagalog (my native tongue) Thanks for this! =D
+Tuxedo Guy (M-Burney) oh I was introduced to Sailor Moon via Toonami aka Cartoon Network, awesome memories I remember when I used to pretend I was sailor moon and my friends were the other girls.. It was so fun, too bad I can't do that anymore I'm a bit old lol.
My favorites in order 1. Malay (because of the beat) 2. Japanese (i can sing it the whole way through without lyrics) 3. Tagalog (its so dark) 4. Korean (its actually kinda catchy) 5. Castilian Spanish (I speak it fluently) 6. English (because of the guitar solo)
Thanks for adding my version (Number 5) in your list ♥️ I love that version too along with Japanese, Korean and Tagalog ❤ I know, that this one is not listed but I like too the Catalan version ❤ That one and the C.Spanish one are my childhood I miss the old days when we got anime dubbed in Spanish on TV 😭 Kisses from Spain 😚🇪🇸😚
Both Russian versions listed here are FANDUB. Openings and endings of the SM series that aired on Russian TV-channels TNT and 2x2 in early 2000s had no lyrics and were just instrumental versions of Moonlight Densetsu by Dali (OP) and Heart Moving (ED) in seasons 1-5 except 3. In the third season we at last heard the original openings and endings in Japanese. And about Castillan... a year ago I saw a video that was called something like "SM opening as it was emitted on TV" in Spanish. It was the second season OP and it also had no lyrics... suprisingly! Thanks for the video! Most of all I liked Indonesian/Malay, Ch. Mandarin, Greek and Latin versions (hope I haven't missed anything). And original Japanese, of course!
I don't know why but japanese was my #1 until I listened the hebrew version just last week now my ranking has changed even more after more versions. 1- hebrew 2- japanese 3- russian 4- catalan 5- spanish (latino, very nostalgic 😌 there werent many anime options on tv growing up in the 90's) 6- swedish.
There's actually a french version as well! I only discovered it recently since there's another french intro as well. This video was sweet though! Nostalgic
Japanese Cantonese Chinese Malay Greek Korean Chinese (Mandarin) Russian Castilian Spanish Swedish Thai Brazilian Portuguese Tagalog Latin Spanish Catalan Hebrew English
lol Thai made me laugh xD not to be mean but it just went from all serious to happy and babyish xD the one that sucked was English they didn't even bother trying to keep the original lyrics of the song
***** well yeah but the Japanese song has a meaning and goes in depth into the story. It basically explains the story of Sailor Moon how she is the moon princess and her love got separated etc etc . I don't like the English version so I obviously don't think it's good because like I said before, they didn't even try to keep in touch with the original. They even changed the story for gurfs sake! Haruka and Michiru cousins!?!? Umm no.. and the voice actors aren't good either. That's just my opinion though, I don't like english dubs..
***** the JP version explains more of the story of the Moon princess and kingdom while the english version explains more about the fighting thing which just doesn't appeal to me. I just don't like it being changed, even if it is changed I would've liked it better if they tried to keep at east 10% of the original meaning. Sure the english one is cute and all but I still prefer the JP.
***** It would've been great if it was translated it would've made things a lot easier. The english theme does describe Sailor Moon but the JP describes her as a person and as a princess which is what I like but I can see why you like it
The latin spanish version and japanese version for me are the best, the english version changed all and i don´t know why, i have listened a few times and i say "what"? but it´s o.k
Heart Moving sounds better in spanish than it does japanese, the Mexican studio that dubbed Sailor Moon slayed SOOO HARD! Actually they slayed hard on dubbing many of the 80s/90s animes
As a musician I can say that the Japanese version is the best because the lyrics were written while composing this melody. If you listen closely every melody screams out the lyrics a bit. When most of the lyrics and melody are finished, the musician tries out different lyrics and progressions until the best version is found.
I won’t be surprised if it’s used in both Malaysia and Indonesia. It’s definitely the same version is used in Malaysia, I very clearly remember the “Tiba tiba, keajaiban terjadi” part.
Catalan is very beautiful and Tagalog is sweet too (whats that by the way? Some kind of dead or fake language or African), maybe the best. I also love Russian and Korean. So magic and beautiful
Krisna Saputra well, it's an ooooooold movie, i've forgot the voice of the dub singer, so i can say surely this is Malay vers or Indo vers.but i remember the lyric, always sang it when i was little :)
I think it was a partnership between Malaysian and Indonesian production houses. Malaysia and Indonesia were really friendly to each other in the 90s and each TV station in Malaysia has an Indonesian station as it’s production partner.
Actually, there are two Brazilian versions. The first one is in your video, dubbed by Gota Mágica in 1995, the second is this one SAILOR MOON ABERTURA BRASILEIRA (CARTOON) dubbed by BKS in 2000. The lyrics are very similar though.
2:43 - 2:57 The Filipino version sounds better (and sadder) with the low pitch, slightly slower speed and kinda damaged audio making it sound like an emo J-pop love song played on an old CD.
i like how Brazilian Portuguese version put some tangos beats to the opening
I am a Brasilian (Brazilían)
Latin Spanish sounds the best for me. Such gentle, beautiful voice! And lyrics are great too, very poetic.
Andrii Svystun me too
Thx!
Latino siempre
Thx I am proud of it, el latino es increible me encanta mi idioma
Really? As a Latina it actually sounds pretty plain to me nothing out of the ordinary, the lyrics are good but that's about it, thanks though!!
Russian, Latin Spanish, Swedish and Japanese are my eternal favourite versions! =D
I love this Russian version, too: czcams.com/video/mTURy8dGZMg/video.html
As long as one doesn't understand the sweedish translation. It's awful, making her sound completely helpless. 😅

While the original Japanese version is the best, the Tagalog version best encapsulates this song when translated to another language.

How tf russian, Latin and Swedish versions are actually MORE EPIC THAN THE ORIGINAL
I agree, especially the Russian version: czcams.com/video/mTURy8dGZMg/video.html
