Assassins Creed 3 (DLC) Connor talks about his grandfather Edward

- Just a short conversation between Mr. Faulkner and Connor about his grandfather Edward.
I guess Ubisoft couldn't resist to add something like this in the DLC, even tho it didn't seem like Connor even was aware he had a grandfather in the main game.. but never mind that.. hehe.. enjoy the video :] - Hry

marture u dont understand what assassins creed saga about, freedom vs control, templar wins becouse u can not get liberty wihout real loose, but with control only thing u loose it ur emotions about it, control gives power to save you and ur family from terrorism, from everything is bad, and this comes with cost of ur emotions not with cost of ur reality like freedom.Idealism is for weak people, social stereotypes, illussions that what happens when u choosing between "oh i will fix education system" "i will raise salary to middle class", head of country must be most useful, most cleveres of all people living in it, and u choosing between guy from ur herd, and a some sick rich scrooge mcduck. And a usual people sitting, with theirs little opinions, wishish etc. They are fooling usual men like a fox fools guard dog 999 times in a row, and a dog still trust this fox after all times she fooled him.
Timeto Strikei you have a point there but freedom is the single thing that what makes us human we are free to choose in what path we should go but we have the responsibility to the consequences in every decision and action. if there is too much control it leads to corruption people will rise up and sooner or later that templar philosophy, control power it all comes down to ruin. when men start to think that they are being trap in a society of cruel and greedy people who wants order to control them and manipulate them in what plans they have in mind. people will start to ask themselves are they animals that they need a master to guid them they will rise up and they will do everything to learn how break free hence the name freedom is what make unique and i still believe in the creed and oh i forgot how can control save you family or make it a good thing if your being control means submiting to what other people believe what about your beliefs ur families belief i refuse to what you said i dont understand the game because its clear even how much you control the people they will always find away to set themselves free

Yes. Edward should be dissapointed at his awesome and badass son, and must be so proud of his characterless shithead grandson.
We talk a lot about Ezio's trilogy, but the Kenway ones are amazing too, I remember playing the ending of the Black Flag game, it was so heartbreaking to see the table full of the comrades that weren't there anymore, and to see Edward's daughter, and I didn't even commented about Anne Bonny singing while everything mentioned before was happening.

People felt he was boring since he wasn't as charismatic and lively as Ezio or even Bayek. I think he's a good character because there's definitely a depth to him. You can see it when he talks with his subordinates, as well as the side missions in the homestead and his banter with Haytham. He's not a badly written character, but he is definitely mono-tone most of the game. AC3 is one of my favourites in the series, right behind Unity and Brotherhood, so telling me I didn't understand it is pretty sad to hear considering how much I love Connor and the game in general

I think this is one of the more unique trilogy’s in gaming. foreshadowing an entire assassin's creed game
@Reloaded Past Actually this DLC came out after ACIV had been confirmed with Edward Kenway as the protagonist.

@Reloaded Past Edward was named in 3 itself. Also he'd appeared in person in the novel Forsaken.

Connor is my favorite Assassin ❤️
why ?
@Dank Assassin I think his character was incomplete. The Templars had better cause, at least some of them. IMO colonial Assassin's were really confused and the order that the templars were givining in, was far better option than letting everyone roaming free. So Connor's cause wasn't that big of a deal for me. He looked like a spoiled child who had anger issues. But I really like to see him getting older and wiser. And also the whole game felted like incomplete. All these good concepts but they weren't finished. Cheers !
@Dank Assassin don't you think that all of his "liberating " actions made more chaos ?
@Dank Assassin I get you. But still mate, I didn't feel any atachment to Connor. Don't know why. Maybe at the beggining but after that it went really fast. There was so much to do in that game and yet so little coz it was unfinished. Like upgrating the Davenport homestead. I like to invest time for liberating forts, ppl, upgrating the hideout and hunting. Also making money of most of it. With all these activities you are investing more time in your character. You get to know him trough it. Also the side quests. With all the other AC games it felt different. Like you chose one and I will compare it. I haven't played Valhalla and didn't finished Odyssey coz it was to repetetive.
@Dank Assassin wanna talk about ac games on discord or steam ?
Oh sizzle that's what he meant by Edward wow!?!?
Altair - Master Assassin
Ezio - Mentor
Edward - Pirate Assassin
Adewale - Slave Assassin
Aveline - Female Slave Assassin
Shay - Traitor and Badass

Rebecca - Computer Expert
Shaun - Brains

Lol... its funny because I actually like Assassin's Creed. Coming from a fan, I think Unity is super bugged and unfinished. Don't presume that you know me Mr. Random guy...geez the nerve of some people like you.
SeFu2006 Regardless if it had bugs on you (which didn't for most people), the story and character were fantastic. Aside from the bugs, which have nothing to do with the actual gaming experience, Unity was a masterpiece.. Arno was way better than Connor, up with the likes of Ezio and Edward.
TRIMC95
Bugs have nothing to do with the gaming experience? I can't even begin to comprehend that statement. The whole gameplay is bugged with inconsistencies. A lot of which I remember fondly. The game actually pissed me off at some parts. And what made th experience worse was the game AI. It is just...so bad, so not next gen. The enemies have insane fields of vision which made stealth barely passable. Even if you really tried to sneak, you're bound to get caught by some bullshit you weren't in control of. Its a good thing they gave you plenty of gadgets so you wouldn't pop a blood vessel trying to deal with the randomness of it all.
The story was meh, Germaine was a boring villian, there was not enough character development for any of the characters besides Arno. I don't feel anything for anyone when I look back on the game. It doesn't make me go, "Wow that guy really was an ass. I might just play through that part again so I can kick his ass." The story is all just a bunch of philosophical babble with fancy words to make it seem grand in scale. The Revolution just seems like its...there. The real French Revolution was so bloody, so horrific, it should've felt like an enemy in the game, but it didn't. It was just...there. The whole story felt underwhelming as a whole. There wasn't any punch or bite. Its just meh.
Ubisoft needs to make more Connor and probably more Edward games so they can make a Kenway trilogy game because Ezio got 4 games and a trilogy himself just my opinion though
There is the America Collection, which includes III, Liberation and Black Flag (plus Freedom Cry as part of Black Flag). Also you forgot that Ezio also had two movies.
@@Sc0rpJoe MOVIES ???????????????????????????????????????
@@The_Quiet_Kiddo Yes, two movies. One is live action and called "Assassin's Creed: Lineage", which technically isn't about Ezio himself, but about his father, but it serves as a prequel to the second game, sets up the story, and ties directly into it. Every motion capture actor reprises their role from the game, except for Ezio's actor, but they got someone who looks like Ezio to cameo as him. The second movie is animated and is called "Assassin's Creed: Embers", and serves as the finale to Ezio's story, it shows his final days, living on a farm with Sofia and their children, when an assassin by the name of Shao Yun shows up, they have a fight with asian templars, train for a bit, and by the end Ezio dies peacefully on a bench in the middle of Florence, watching his family on the market.

Edward was the best assassin in the Kenway legacy. He had the skills of a master assassin without going through any sort of assassin training at all.
Seriously think about that for a moment. He had the skills of one of the best assassins to ever live without ever training to be one. Kidd told him that constantly and she always wanted him to join the order because she couldn’t believe the inherit skill he possessed. When he finally joined the order he became a master assassin nearly instantly.
@Chandler Burse the most deadly maybe, the most skilled would go to either Altair or Ezio
Edward wasn’t the best. He was a very good fighter, yes. But not special compared to Altair or ezio. Who are considered the GOAT by all assassins.
@Chandler Burse Connor's more brutal, but in the Kenway family Edward is just more skilled with his natural talent, and then when he joined the assassins he could've had some more training so he's even more skilled.
but the most skilled Assassin of all time would be either Altair or Ezio. and remember that Altair in AC1 had a Synchronization Bar instead of a Health Bar which indicates that he never lost any health in the whole game (everytime you get hit the sync goes down because that's not what actually happened irl).

It was awesome to visit Edward's house in AC Syndicate. Would've been even more awesome if there was a very older Connor, Connor's son or someone connected to the Kenway's in someway who Evie could meet at the Kenway Manor.
Connor would be 110 years old in Syndicate, he's dead. He married a native woman and had 3 children.
