@@EHCreative I love ur vids From:Philippines
That metallic finish makes the difference with other models.
Trop beau dommage que je bosse pas aussi bien il est magnifique
amazing ! what type of sponge did you use for the scratches ? thank you !
Muito daora incrível
Hi, I was wondering if this could be used on foam for cosplays and also I what mold is that and where did you get the shell to make the mold?
This is great, i would love to be able to make moulds and casts
TheBDM Puppy thank you!
@@EHCreative bro but where did you get the helmet shell?? Please reply
@@EHCreative how did you make the big shell of the helmet
magnum boy The original helmet was 3D printed and belonged to my friend. I molded it for him as a favor. The helmet was rumored to be printed off the cgi files from the film. Thanks for the comment.
What sealer do I use and does the paint crack by any chance? I want to use these colors for the entire iron man suit. Let me know
I like to use automotive primer. With Iron man parts I like to use Red Oxide primer as it makes a good base for the red paint. If you look in the video description i added a link to the red oxide primer i like. I haven't had any problems with cracking. However if you are using a filler primer light coats are best. Too heavy of coats will cause the paint will crack as it drys. Thanks!
it's perfect
Carolina camacho S matiasayala thank you for the compliment!
👍👍 mantap
Thank you!
Que es eso negro que mezclas.... de que esta echo ?plastico?
Como você fez o molde do capacete
Hello good, I would like to make a mold for a start wars helmet that I have, could you tell me what materials you used to make the mold and replicate it? I would like to learn how to do it.
The two part molding silicone is called econosil and it’s sold by an online effects shop called Silpak. You should be able to find them in a quick search. For the backing shell I just used regular polyester fiberglass resin and fiberglass mat available at the local hardware store. Can’t seem to post a link but search youtube for how to make a silicone brush-up mold. There is a great walk through the process on The Tested channel. I hope that helps!
Hola también. Es posible. Cómprale una de esas ...?
Mark. A….......👍👍👍👍
Think I can get info on the spray paint and silver paint used please?
Sure, all the materials are linked in the description.
Hi there, for your finishing which you used “Rub n Buff Silver Leaf Wax Metallic Finish”, do you apply to the whole gold faceplate? Do we apply also to the entire whole red helmet as well? & how thick should we do it?
Looks amazing! what was the original helmet you used to mold it?
The original helmet used to make the molds belonged to my friend. It was 3d printed from what was rumored to be actual screen used CGI files but I don't know if that's true.
E.H. Creative that’s cool if it’s true, I am getting a 3D printer soon and want to print a mark 3 helmet myself and none of the models are as accurate as this
Wow 😮 awesome , how much will the Price ?????
What grit sandpaper did you use for the brushed metal look?
Bagenius it was actually a very fine 3M scotch brite pad. Not sure the grit but light grey color.
@@EHCreative ok thank you. It's amazing how to managed to get a movie quality finish with just spray paints. Gives me hope for my suit
what primer did you use for the faceplate before applying the gold? looks dope
I first used a duplicolor filler primer to fill some surface imperfections. Then I lightly sanded to level the surface. You can then go straight to paint or use the red oxide primer.
@@EHCreative thanks a lot for the response! Keep up the amazing work!!
Im finally at the painting stage of making one of these. Do you need to use clear coat after? If so would matte dull it too much
ThePandaKing you could clear coat it. But I don’t think it’s necessary. The screen used ones I’ve seen were glossy so matte might make it look too dull.
@@EHCreative Thanks for the help! You're amazing!
ThePandaKing thanks I appreciate the compliment! Good luck
What did you use to paint the detail line for the helmet? Is it washed down black acrylic?
Yes exactly. My favorite for panel lines. It’s very forgiving if you make a mistake.
What materials did you use for mould and casting material
The silicone I used for the molds was Econosil tin cure two part RTV backed with a fiberglass shell and the resin for casting is called Silcast 2 urethane casting resin. Both are available online through Silpak.
Could you link to the materials used to make the mold?
Renata Carvalho unfortunately I can’t post a link but the two part molding silicone is called econosil and it’s sold by an online effects shop called Silpak. You should be able to find them in a quick search. For the backing shell I just used regular polyester fiberglass resin and fiberglass mat available at the local hardware store. I hope that helps!
What paint do you use for that effect? 4:00
The gold is Rustoleum specialty metallic gold. And use ultra fine scotch brite pads to make the brushed texture.
@@EHCreative Thank you very much, you are an artist
Did you prime every piece with red oxide
I painted the face visor with a grey primer. But the gold paint would have covered the red oxide no problem.
What is that black that you mix .... what is it made of? Plastic?
The material is a two part high durometer casting polyurethane called Silkast II. Once cured it’s very much like a high impact plastic.
where do I buy the molds? do you sell me the silicone molds?
I made the molds for a friend off a 3D printed helmet. Unfortunately I can’t sell them. Thanks for watching!
what paint did you use for this video?
Important
Wat did you use for the gloss or metal look?
The links for all the paints I used are in the video description.
@@EHCreative thank you so much! I’ve been planning on making an iron man cosplay
how did you make the mould can you do a vid on that ?
Miles Of Smiles I would like to at some point. Just haven’t because there are so many great tutorials on that exact thing already.
@@EHCreative oh cool can you recommend any?
Can’t seem to post a link but search for how to make a silicone brush-up mold. There is a great walk through the process on The Tested channel.
@@EHCreative cheers mate!
How can I make a mold like the one you use? You are great
Thank you for the compliment. The mold was made using a two part molding silicone called econosil from a company called Silpak. There are some great video tutorials on CZcams that show the process step by step. Just search for making a silicone mold. Thanks again!
@@EHCreative I searched for the product on CZcams and saw how they do it.. But then the material you put inside the mold to create the piece that material is?? I have followed all the video but I am Italian I do not understand your language very well 😂 and if kindly you can tell me what kind of red, and gold buy to find directly here in colorificio. Thank you very much for your answer
@@robertomarciano1788 the paints I used are linked in the description. The two part material that hardens is called polyurethane resin that I added urethane due to make black. You should be able to find it online.
@@EHCreative Thank you. I had seen the paint that you used but from Italy it does not make me buy them.. I wanted to know if there are exact color codes so as not to go wrong to buy here from me
@@robertomarciano1788 unfortunately I do not have the color codes. I will see if I can find them and let you know.
Here is the creation of an EEG. If you can make a bulletproof soldier close and be bulletproof, can you create an EEG???
THAT'S AMAZING!
DO YOU SELL THAT?
MARCO Grandelli thanks for the compliments! Unfortunately I’m not able to sell them.
@@EHCreative but... If I pay... Can you made one of it for me?

Is it plastic?
Maha Kaal the material is a two part high durometer casting polyurethane. Once cured it’s very much like a high impact plastic.
@@EHCreative o ok ok..

Is it possible to buy one helmet not completely finish ?
An Lec I’m sorry, I currently am not able to sell these helmets. But thanks for the interest.
E.H. Creative Let me know if someday you decide to sell models just ouf of the mold.
You still out there? This helmet is sweet!! Do you do consignments?? Message me!
Steve Neisen hello, unfortunately I’m unable to sell these. But thank you for the interest. I appreciate it!
where do you get the files?
4:01 what are you using to make these scratches?
That is a super fine scotch brite pad by 3M.
@@EHCreative Thanks for your quick reply 👍😉
Good work but the glossy ...!!!!!
Anyway you're good
Can I buy it from you??
price do
What is that black thing??
Not sure which black thing you mean?
can you make one for me?
SmoothMusicJam unfortunately I can’t but thanks for asking.
I'm cool. if given.
What is the black paint you used?
I can’t recall the brand but it was flat black enamel from Home Depot. Enamel works fine over the red acrylic lacquer.
@@EHCreative thats what I thought it was. Got some humbrol black enamel. Do you reccomend I appy it before or after the clear coat?
@@gamerknowledge539 you could do either but if you want that matte black appearance the clear coat will make it slightly shiny. I put mine on as a last step without a clear coat
Can you see through the eyes
Yes they are illuminated from the side so they glow but still allow you to see through should you choose to wear the helmet. You can find them on eBay.
@@EHCreative I am making a cardboard iron man helmet
And when I am done I will must a video of it on my channel

Old effect is wrong, Because it's all golden
True if it were actually pure gold it wouldn't have metal showing through. My goal was to replicate the effect ive seen on screen used helmets that ive seen in person. Mostly to add interest and show some highlight on the gold face mask. Thanks for the comment!
@@EHCreative a ok, it's not a replica
