George was always on a spiritual journey before being a Beatle. He was wise on many levels even as a musician. He was vegetarian long before Paul. Consumed dairy only because he had cows in his care. No breeding. Total simplicity and one with nature. Not taking animals lives yet Sanctuary. Peace. No violence.

It's easier to keep a thing than to regain a thing once lost especially if it's your health, but bad events/health changes can happen to anyone for no apparent reason despite your best efforts. No amount of meditation or nutrition will save you when that day comes either, despite the power people like to pretend they have over their health, the truth is it's very limited in the end. I’ve also found that love is the only thing that is not tangible that I know is real. The rest is just conjecture from peoples interpretation or learnings. Not saying they are wrong but I just think life is a mystery that no one has solved yet. The Maharishi was not without his faults as we all discovered and he isn’t or won’t be the last playing with people’s yearning for a meaning to life. Most people on this planet don’t have the luxury of time to meditate ,let alone afford a guru.
I think humans are moving forward. It’s just that we take two steps forward and one step back. We have a very long way to go still. Love the children and hopefully they will grow to love too.

Years later when i got into music and playing guitar i started appreciating George more and more. His Guitar playing although not flashy is superb, so hard to emulate, just the perfect part at the perfect time, always suits the song not his ego, as i read more and more on the Beatles, he always stood out to me, such a gentle soul always looking for something more in life and not just being a "sex, drugs and rock and roll" type of rockstar.

One George Harrison is probably worth more than two hundred of todays' stars although that sentence is an understatement

My total hero, just loved him, he looked beyond the life on this planet, he was a philosopher/poet and teacher, however very few listen!

Ironically, George is probably the most influential Beatle at the moment. His Beatles songs are the most streamed on Spotify. The millennial generation (and Gen Z) connect with him more than the other three.
