That foul that was called was right and video assistance refereeing would have confirmed if it were in use back then. In fact perhaps VAR would have called for a straight goal because i think the ball already crossed the line before Suarez stopped it with his hand.
I am not just a Ghanaian, I am also a christian and I believe in fairness. If a Ghanaian had done that to get us the win, I would still have expressed deep disappointed which I always say and even some(not all) of my Ghanaian friends think otherwise saying showing patriotism by fair means or foul is worth it. And I strongly disagree.
I believe in working hard and winning fair. And when you lose to a better opponent in a game you celebrate their victory.
Brazil beat us in the earlier World cup. They played better and I still admired them. In fact Kaka is my all-time favourite.
But when you cheat in the name of patriotism to get a victory, it will sure be short lived. I hope the whole Uruguay doesn't think like you are thinking. If so I would be very disappointed in the whole country.
