I built this Deck recently & based it around +1/+1 counters (I don't own alot of Flash) & after testing it out I was told that I should base her more around ETB effects 🤔 What's the best route to go for this Deck?
The problem with +1/+1 counters Phelia is that she doesnt reward you for playing other cards with +1/+1 counters. She puts counters on herself, but that doesn't make your other counters cards better. She has much higher synergy with ETB effects because you can load your deck with a toolbox of different ETBs and she can blink the best card for the situation repeatedly. Mono-White is absolutely loaded with strong ETBs that are tailor-made for Phelia to abuse.
Mono-White does have some great +1/+1 counters synergy, but they are designed to reward a very wide board of creatures while Phelia needs a lot of help making her able to attack without dying. She's very vulnerable as a 2/2 with no evasion or protection, so take advantage of Mono-White's very strong Voltron cards like Bastion Protector, Holy Mantle, or Unquestioned Authority to name a couple. Phelia is useless if she isn't attacking every turn, and she's even worse dead. However she does buff herself with those +1/+1 counters, so if you run a lot of 1-3 mana permanents for Phelia to blink she can attack every turn, and end up a little stronger so she doesn't die to blockers.
