This is something I wish I had when I was younger. My family is and always has been fiercely supportive and deeply loving, but I'm really the only "soft" one of the family, so I guess I just never quite got the soft affirmations I felt I needed. This audio, while it's not a replacement, it helped me realise what I needed and what I felt was missing from that period of my life. I could never explain how cathartic this is! Thank you!
I can’t remember if I’ve ever had bad news from a doctor. Last year I was told I officially do have autism which isn’t bad but felt like it. Must be scary being told when you have something bad, I wouldn’t want to tell anyone either, especially if it’s that serious and if I thought no one would like me anymore or something. I know what that’s like. My parents were told it when I was born, but when did mum tell me about it? When I was 9. They let me live a lie that I was normal…for 9 years. And I’m 15. I’ve spent more time of my life thinking I was normal instead of knowing about my autism.

Oh man I can only imagine how my partner would react if I had to tell them that I had to get an operation to be healthy. I just hope they are half as understanding and loving as this.
I have little but permanent nerve damage in my lower left leg and permanent drop foot in my left foot, it's annoying bc I refuse to wear a foot brace so I trip or fall a lot but it's not bad
I’ve been having problems hearing for months now. I’ve been going to the doctor on a regular basis for weeks. I did a hearing test recently and found out I have hearing loss in both ears. It could just be some kind of fluid preventing sound from reaching or this could possibly be my “new normal”. I have a CT scan next week to get more information but I can’t help feeling scared.
It would be great if my ex-fiancé thought like you after I told her that the doctor diagnosed me with a stage 2 brain tumor. but unfortunately she left me and broke our engagement... 😢😢😢

3 years ago my dad died. His autopsy showed a genetic heart condition that caused a myocardial infarction (heart attack) causing death. It's inherited father to son. Grandad died in 87 and was adopted, it skips the women... Yeah, I'm gonna die early. I've accepted it and am at peace. I'm also a Christian so it means i get to see my Lord earlier than expected. So i got that goin for me. On the other hand the fact i didn't freak out about dying early is what freaks me out a little.

this is good for me, i got BAD news from my doctor after my last MRI scan. turns out i have a tumor that may be cancerous
