He's made it perfectly clear that he is open to starting the season as is and being patient, but as a Lakers fan, he would like to see roster improvement.
He would definitely like to see The Lakers make some sort of "significant" deal, as he is not opposed to moving AR or other young pieces but he also realizes The Lakers have significant cap restraints being that they are a first apron team.
Being just below the second apron gives them some flexibility in the types of deals that can be made but he also doesn't want The Lakers to overpay.
Sometimes it seems like people are not following the clips and just taking their anger at The Lakers front office on Tyler.

It's not like they didn't try to add Klay, he chose The Mavs and his former team helped him get there.
Whether you care for AR or not, the front office seems to value his potential, so they have not been willing to give him up, plus multiple firsts, to have 3 stars, when that model has not netted positive results.

Trades are not gonna help much. Grant is an inefficient player who probably will be most disappointing. But regardless, what Lakers need is health and luck, especially without Dlo - the current best shooter. btw all so-called shooters are inconsistent, with highs and lows. If you give up DLo, the best shooter, Rui the Bron understudy, and Vando the best defender. My guess is that the team would be significantly worse, especially if Bron or AD miss the predicted 15 games a piece.
If we can get trades done without losing Vando, that would be a huge W

I like what you're saying but I also like what I think is the Lakers management's new ideal and pathway which they are taking by developing young talent from in-house instead of reading, trading, trading season after season.
For LeBron and his final seasons with the Lakers I think the proposals that you have spit ballled with would be great for the short term.
Personally I'm off the thinking that we need to look past the LeBron era and begin working on the future of the team and the roster for long term success.
1) Try to find a way to keep Wood and replace with Hayes.
2) Rui/Vincent/Two 2ndRPs or 1stRP&2ndRP for Jerami Grant.
The issue is the Lakers based on reports want to keep Hayes over Wood.

D-Lo, Gabe, JHS, both 2027 - 2029 first & a pick swap or 2 to Utah for Kessler, Sexton & Clarkson. Utah could then move D-Lo & Gabe for more assets.
I would trade Gabe and a first for WK from Utah, then trade rui and C wood Cam and a 1st to the nets for cam Johnson. u save money to make more moves and u pick up 2 key players to turn u into a championship team

An elite squad that's attainable. Everyone but Spence, AD, Bron under 30 and an elite blend of offense and defense. This puts the Lakers back as a top tier team and is perfect for a current/post Lebron era.

@@jazz9236 People that know basketball know Reaves and Dinwiddie are high iq ball handlers and Darvin didn’t have them play that role last season. You have about 6-7 guys that can drop 20+ on any given night and shoot 40% from 3. Cam/Grant/Kuz are interchangeable, I just think Cam is the more attainable guy if Grant costs 2 1sts. Elite squad of guys that can shoot 40%, play defense at a high level and sustain AD/Bron missing time.

The Blazers are willing to trade Grant to the Lakers but want 2 firsts and the Lakers don't wanna do 2 firsts. If Blazers would take 1 first the Lakers would of already traded for Grant. Grant said 4 or 5 years ago now that he didn't wanna be a 3rd option but alot can change in 4 or 5 years.

Idk much about Collin but ik he a good on ball defender and rim pressuring guard but is he an upgrade over dlo shoots pretty good three looking at his stats?
Collin sexton had very similar stats to DlO this past season.
Dlo averaged 18/3/6 on just under 50% from 2 and 41.5% from 3 on 7 attempts
Sexton averaged 18.7/3/5 on 53% from 2 and a hair under 40 from 3 on 4.2 attempts.
Dlo shot more 3s and Sexton more 2s but Sexton more explosive and rim pressure guard

This was after the Suns made it to the Finals and felt they needed more, and now they are worse than they were before. No trades needed for the Lakers. How about the players get better

You can but there is a limit. Teams cants stack more than 2 Vet min unless other salary players are going out and your under the second cap. So you couldn't take say 3 or 4 vet min and trade them for a 10 million dollar player. Lakers could trade both DLO/Wood/Reddish in a deal.

Because it's incredibly early and no one's making trades. They only free agency trades have been free agent sign and trade because those players wanted to be over payed. The only other trades happened pre free agency and we're a greatly over pay for Bridges, a reasonable trade for Murray and a trade for Caruso we couldn't have made.

That's negotiating. Lakers did it in the Westbrook trade and got exactly what they wanted at the exact price they wanted. Originally it was 2 first just to move Russ and they ended up trading him for several pieces and only 1 protected first

Not 2 first but he's essentially Vando/Rui combined. He not as elite defensively as Vando but a legit 20+ a game guy that is a very good Defender when engaged.

I appreciate you! I get this isn't for everyone but this is the offseason. There isn't really anything in the news market than trade rumors and free agent rumors. Kinda hard to talk about stuff that doesn't exist. If there was other news and updates I'd be all over it but this is all we got. I gotta still do my job and still gotta get videos up.
